The Bridge

This is the fourth (at least) time that this plot has been serialized. Each version has been different with only the base story remaining the same.

This version is basically fine, but there are some things that stand out, and not in a good way.

1. The characters switch back and forth between their language and English between sentences -- often several times within a short conversation. I don't know if this is really how people of this region speak, but it feels totally contrived.

2. The acting is not great. The main characters are OK, but most of the additional characters are painful to watch.

On the whole, it's not terrible and it is interesting to see yet another interpretation of this story, but I can't recommend it as anything more than that.
