Believable story told with love. I like it very much!

To be honest, it is a really nice one. You start laugh of the situations, which are real life, at least they were in 2018.

The main hero is really cute and has a right place in this story, he is naive, kind, and wants to be a local hero, so he goes to Kyiv.

Dialogues and scenes are so fun and ironic. They give you much positive emotions. It is hard to do such comedy to make it work properly.

It is worth to watch!

P.s. - last scene represents the society and how easy to manipulate with it, they are not ready to do any actions, only to complain. They wait untill somebody will show them the simplist way. Brilliant.

A good movie, with good scenes and dialogues. For the first half of the film, I was in awe of him. Further, I expected that everything would go according to the laws of drama, but the film is less prosaic and more cynical. But this in no way spoils it, but is simply an alternative way to develop and complete this story.

The author successfully demonstrates and emphasizes the dark scenery of the metropolis (I think that there is a lot of beauty in the city, but in the film it appears only in the cells of the "higher strata") From my description, it may seem that the film is gloomy, but this is far from the case - it is gloomy accents of the life of the main character, who tries his best to get out of them (or at least thinks so)

I'll start of by saying I have a strange sense of humour. Hero of My Time and Brazil are the only comedies that have ever made me laugh throughout the entire film.

The movie is about two boys who move from a small village into Kyiv expecting to make it big. Of course, things don't quite work out the as they hope. The message of the movie, as explained via an old Soviet video, is that "everyone wants to be like everyone else". But that doesn't work out for everyone.

Most of the jokes target big city life, corruption, and our Ukrainian mindset, and the jokes don't stop coming with this one. 70 minutes of straight hilarity. But, like I said, you need to be open to this type of ironic, sarcastic humour. I watched it with 2 other guys who barely cracked a smile.
