Misfired . Movie tried something but it was completely Misfired . Story follows the love triangle between Rambo , Kanmani and Khatija . This love triangle movie was bit different from other . First half was too slow and boring , it took more time to build the story . Second half was not boring , instead it was cringe . Comedy worked out in few places . Main positive of the movie was Ani's music , literally backbone of the movie . Vijay Sethupathi , Nayanthara and Samantha's performance was good . Technically , cinematography was good . Lip syncing was terrible , literally spoiled some moments . 2hrs 39mins was too long . Overall a average rom-com . "May be" family audience enjoy it .

Very worst film for Vijay Sethupathi . Nowadays Vijay Sethupathi acting is not good. Samantha acting utter worst. Nayanthara done role super. Vijay Sethupathi you should learn how to make film.

Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Plastic is a film that exemplifies two things:

Both Nayanthara and Samantha are highly overrated.

Vijay Sethupathi effortlessly excels in any challenging scene.

While the basic idea of the film may be acceptable, the story developed around it is nothing short of rubbish. The characters feel forced into the narrative, lacking authenticity.

The screenplay is abysmal, with an unbearably dull and silly first half. Every scene fails to entertain and lacks humor.

Vijay Sethupathi's performance is monotonous for the most part, only shining in a few scenes.

Nayanthara's appearance resembles a patient with all the fat squeezed out and a face filled with botox, yet her performance is somewhat passable.

Sam's artificial overacting, coupled with her self-dubbing, becomes unbearable. She exudes a plastic demeanour throughout the film.

On a positive note, the cinematography is good, and the production values are rich. The music is acceptable, but nothing extraordinary.

If you are content with mediocre and silly films, it would be advisable to wait and watch it on an OTT platform. Otherwise, it is best to skip this film entirely.

Expected a lot given the hype but one word, disappointed! Wat was meant to be a rom-com clearly didnt work out in many areas. Should have considered OTT release. Acting wise good & Anirudh was the saving grace. Director Vighnesh Shivan kindly consider alternative profession please.

The movie movie includes lot's of funny scenes but there are some logic mistakes that I have spot all over the movie. I think this movie is a one Time watchable for me....

Vignesh Sivan is not a yet another director. Just from the movies, a fun loving but a very realistic. When i just thought this is some stupid fun only movie and making use of his wife/girl friend to make money, but with the wonderful climax he made me think he is different.

Vijay Sethupathi with 2 girls pair, only made me think he is lucky 😊 but when i realized husband/girl friend directing and picking him means something.

2 different story for Nayan and Samantha and a background story for vijay connecting in a very funny way with small emotions all over and finishing the story with a punch and reality. Nice.

Why imdb folks did not like this movie much? May be they expected too much? 😂😂😂

Better to have this in OTT.

My first review at imdb, so fulfilled.. I fully laughed after many days.. my wife was shocked to see me laugh. Never the less, a very good time pass movie. Very good time pass movie Folks who have badly commented have wasted their time typing and expected wrongly..might be similar to their married lives.

This movie is truly an exaggeration. I still don't know why this movie was filmed.. or at least could have been in OTT. There were very few comedy scenes.. that too not that funny. Just HAHA funny. I really love Nayanthara, but this movie ain't worth it for her too! Too disappointed. Could have stayed home.. but can't forget how CRINGY the movie was..!!

A breathe of fresh air after a series of flop movies for kollywood...not so refreshingly new but a neat screenplay makes it worth a watch,A huge break through for VJ after losing streak...All three lead characters performance was top notch and does not lag in between director was in a terrible situation to give a success and does at ease finally...overall "ALL MINUSES BECOME PLUS ON SOMEDAY" for KVRK team.

On this summer the only good thing happened while watching this movie is you can site in side a cool room and enjoy the AC. If you want to watch a entertainment movie, better opt for another movie. Badly stuck in theatre. Never expect this from Vignesh.

Note: This movie is not that much bad, Lot of negative reviews, most of them from Vijay fans since Vignesh Shivan is going to direct with Ajith in the next movie.. Its one time watchable not too bad. Let me start with negative first.

Negative: Length of the movie is quite far. Felt lagging in some places. When VJS took a car trip of Nayanthara around her flat, that scene was cringe overloaded. Also such an disappointed climax.

Postive: Its such a new concept in Tamil industry. Fantastic love comedy movie. Jolly ride with superb performances from the lead team Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara & Samantha the powerful package. VJS Performance is ultimate, the energy and charisma that made him a beloved star. Great comback for VJS and well balanced writing from Vignesh Shivan. Comedy came well with with redin kingsley. Anirudh elevates the momentum of the scenes & romantic theme next Level, he incredibly earwormy with his songs. Its one time watchable movie.

The concept is a weird one that doesn't coincide with the current society setup and hence may be, this film has garnered so much attention.

Although the concept is weird and people would automatically think that there'd be a vulgar scene for sure that's the surprise that the film disappoints you with no such scenes at all and the film portrays this concept in a very good light although, in the end, it feels more like friends living together and not as couples, which makes this film very decent with not even a single bad double meaning dialogue as well.

The main actors did well to the extent of what the script demanded but the problem of the film lies in the director's writing where the film gives so many usual scenes & comedies that have become somewhat boring nowadays since we've seen such comedy sequences already in many films but still some of the sequences were watchable and there were some emotional sequences in the film but the scenes were made in such a way that even before the audiences get to feel it, another mockery kinda comedy sequences takes over and spoils it up, it looks like the director tried to mix things up but didn't come in real as they had wished.

But, overall it was a good laughable watch, the first half was too good, 2nd the half was spoiled to some extent, otherwise, it would've been a nice one, a watchable one in your boring/free time.

If you are brought up like this: 1. One love is true love 2. Treat girls with respect 3. Don't cheat anyone 4. Don't cheat in the name of love 5. Don't be a playboy

Then, this movie is not for you.

A guy cheating 2 girls at the same time. When found out, he makes a drama, creates sympathy, gives justification for his cheating. HE IS CALLED AS A HERO. And those who follows the above said points are called fools, sambhar, boomer, sappa.

Making this movie is damn easy. Vignesh did it like a cake walk. 1 same situation, same dialogues, same scenes but delivered in 2 ways with 2 different girls.

So many justifications given for hero dating 2 girls at a time. But nothing actually justifies his act. Overall he is a fraud. Nothing can justify a fraudster.

I don't know how so many people celebrate this movie, calls it a blockbuster, fav hero, fav heroine, best romantic movie (trust me, people do), breezy movie. It's just a 2.30 hours garbage.

The movie is really good. Kudos to the team of Vignesh Shivan for bringing Samantha, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati in this romantic comedy film. Samantha as Khatija Begum was fantastic along with Vijay Sethupati as Rambo and Nayanthara as Kanmani.

The screenplay is awesome and even if you don't understand the language, the subtitles makes it easy for you to laugh on certain comedy scenes. A different concept but altogether a movie full of entertainment.

If you have enjoyed Govinda's two wives movie. You will enjoy this.

People who says this is male fantasy. Should know that there's no item song. Or super action scenes.

The worst VJS flim, to be Frank the worst flim I've ever seen.

The cringe content is overloaded. Vignesh Shivan is a kind of director who came into flim industry by luck, and this movie is a prime example of that.

Please don't waste your precious time and money going to theatre.

Not even worth to watch on OTT.

Forget about story/screenplay, there is no comedy even.

The director has simply wasted a good cast.
