April Skies

I like the way this film was photographed. There was a downward journey in a lift portrayed in a very interesting way.

I came to this film without watching the trailer and without knowing any background at all. I am glad of that because I have read professional critic reviews after watching the film which I believe would have spoilt it for me if I had read them beforehand.

The acting performances are good. But I did find them somewhat over the top at times. There is a UK soap opera called EastEnders in which people shout at each other a lot and times this film strayed into that territory.

Overall I enjoyed the film.
