I love low budget indie films. So few of the Indian filmmakers take the chance. So kudos for that to Q.
I get the symbolism of the woman in chains. I get the rage felt by the female lead. I also get the blind devotion of the van driver towards his guru. I get the dig on the right wingers. What I don't get is why the female lead went all ballistic on the poor driver.
This film is poorly directed. The pacing of the film is all wrong. The performances are mediocre. The shocking scenes just don't have any justification. Just because a filmmaker derives pleasure in showing someone defecating painfully, that does not mean it's art. It's just rubbish. Garbage is aptly named as it is garbage.

This film is a garbage. When the film starts I thought it's gonna be a good one, but gradually it was going nowhere. All of a sudden all the characters were doing things which doesn't make any sense. There's a big difference between art films and non intellectual movies. Such a garbage, waste of time .

Nope Q is no Rob Zombie, and no matter how hard he tries he won't ever be. He is basically a director who wants to create movies with shock and nudity and like all his other movies this one falls under the same category. Clueless script, direction at mediocrity. Nothing is there that people who are aware of this genre haven't seen before.

Religion curbs Man's sexuality. Suppressed sexuality leads to perversion. Man curbs women. Women curb women. There are so many things to see if you chose to see them. Also the idea of the dead mute woman restricted to her own home and hearth and to die there. For her, to leave it is death. So many small things have worked in this film. Lovely performances by satarupa and the driver. And Trimala. Loved the picturisation and the Color.

An excellent screenplay for a film noir / dark movies. i get why it is rated low by typical indians..this far exceeds their idea of movie ( khan borthers ;) ) .
i suggest you watch this movie with a strong mindset ( graphics / language etc.)
you will appreciate the movie from a male dominated society ( west or east )
and pls ignore that hinduism/ guruji reference...it is not relevant to the movie.

At least it isn't a regular Indian crap film. Slightly ambiguous ending. Quite entertaining cos the story can't be guessed. Back story for the "slave" would've been interesting.
It seems more like a Hindu phobic documentary, pure politically motivated. It seems writer has short on creativity so did the most easy thing. Make a villian out of hindu society.

This movie is a complete garbage and suits for those you just want to demean a nation and insult a community and set a propaganda to mess with people in short destroy a culture. It's complete waste of time and seems the Netflix doesn't look into the contents and turning itself into the garbage too. After watching this Netflix also compelled me too cancel it's subscription. The store loses it's soul and seems that writer had only one thing in mind before writing the story and screenplay that input all the possible garbage of mind in the content.

The movie consists of a false narrative created to show Hindus - actually victims of severe persecution at the hands of Muslim Tyrants, Crusaders, and Communists, since over a millenium - in a very false light.
Hindus are the most tolerant people on Earth - the movie is made by Hinduphobic Communists with NO FACTUAL BASIS.

I honestly do not know where to begin. Okay, I refuse to refer this thing as a film since I don't see any relationship of this thing to the cinema, so I'll stick to referring this thing as a thing. And this thing probably could be the prototype of the worst "filmmaking" ever and trust me, I've seen some pretty bad ones and none have affected me as this masterpiece has. The mental health of the director of the film seems not well at all. He seems utterly politically frustrated and whats to make a film about it, which is ok. It's a digital age and anyone can afford a camera and tell their story. But to tell a story, man needs some skills, which were absent throughout the torturous hour and fifty minutes, which were robbed by this garbage. A filmmakers job is to have its audience experience something artistically, let it be a beautiful or a grotesque thing. Anyways, I must credit the director for his intuition for the moment in which he came up with the title. Spot on, dude!

Garbage is an exploitation movie that thinks it has an immensely powerful message. It doesn't and it's not worth anyone's time, and if you need this movie to teach you morals then you're probably already too far gone. I can't seem to voice many more thoughts on it without my review getting rejected, so I'll just leave it at that.
