By far this was the worst acting I have ever seen in a movie! Anybody rating this above a 1, lacks grey matter!
Ok hoopz kid is a terrible actress already i think they had a screen for her to read her lines off of ..hoopz struggles at times but i see promise ..she was getting more comfortable as the movie went on. Not the best effort however i am intrigued to find out what happens in the sequel. Hate the cliffhanger leave off but it's all good. Actually 1 star but i saw hoopz shower scene and about to make love scene so i threw in two more stars.
Good film. The twist was crazy in the end . Hoopz did a good job. Just wish jim Jones has a longer role
The acting in this is AWFUL. Let me list a handful of the things that got on my last nerve.
-From the first scene on. The moment it started I was annoyed with Jim smacking his gum. Who chews their gum like a cow chewing cud in a movie scene. He's not even the only one that does it. There's multiple ppl.
-Then the audio was horrible. There are scenes that look like they shot it and forgot to turn the audio on so they had to add voice over for that 10 min scene.
-One scene Hoopz opens the screen and front door on a house. It was so obv the sound of the door was edited in it was ridiculous. It was like the sounds they use on a haunted house. The screeching door sound.
-The dude Patrick she goes on a date with, him trying to act all smooth is hard to watch. It doesn't look natural, at all.
-The closed captioning on this movie says *ngger isn't stead of *ngga. How do u not catch that?
I will say the longer the movie goes on the better job Hoopz does. Like she's getting more comfortable. But she def needs some more acting classes to not seem so stiff and like she's acting.

I hate having to drop a bad review on someone's independent effort, but this movie is terrible. I give it one star, pretty much for the lighting and settings.
As to the film's shortcomings...the whole thing screens like a bad reality TV show. Which isn't a big surprise, as the main actor (Nicole Alexander) is apparently from a reality TV show. You can tell she is trying to act, but she doesn't have the range, emotion, or experience to pull off any scenes.
The camera moves like a drunk man in some scenes, but is rock steady in others. In a couple of switch scenes, one scene is steady and the other cam bobs around. Who thought that was fun to watch?
Every line of dialog is stilted and forced, and most of the time is poorly acted. The lines are really, really bad at times. The child actor's lines are so awful as to be laughable.
Some supporting cast members are decent enough actors for a no-budget film, but the abysmal dialog spoils any chance of success in the role. Characters are all cardboard cut-outs of stereotypical tropes.
There's no point in discussing the screenplay or plot problems. It's as if you forced a teenager to watch a week of reality-TV and urban crime drama shows and then asked them to write a movie.
If you are a big fan of Ms. Alexander or whatever TV show she was in, you might find this film interesting. Other than that, skip it. Really awful.
