Down for Whatever

Another movie that I was not familiar with prior to sitting down and watching it here in 2025. I had no idea what I was in for here, aside from it apparently being an action movie of sorts, so I didn't really have any expectations to the movie. And that meant that writer and director Timothy Wayne Folsome essentially had every opportunity to entertain and impress me.

The narrative in the movie was troubled by some pacing issues throughout the course of the movie. Parts of the movie were good, as it was fast paced and adrenaline packed, whereas other parts were sluggish and prolonged.

I was not familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list, which is actually something I do enjoy whenever I watch a movie. The acting performances in "Down for Whatever" were good.

Sure, the movie was watchable, but it ultimately was a bland viewing experience, and one that will never be seen a second time. Would I recommend you to rush out and get to watch this movie? No.

Wrapped in a slew of "gangsta" films, I lucked upon this gem. You already know the premise so I won't restate it. This TV film kept my attention from the beginning to the end. It isn't edge of your set drama and action but the story kept me interested and wanting to see how it ended. No matter how it ends it isn't meant to be a happily ever after for everyone but you may be fighting back a tears in then end.

This movie was great, I laughed, I cried and also got angry. This movie is it I absolutely loved it. The acting was on point and they all came together great I couldn't wait to see what happened next.
