Ariana Grande understands some skepticism surrounding her casting in the anticipated Wicked. Grande will star as Glinda, opposite Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, in the film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical. While it may be hard for most of us to fathom any negative response to Grande landing the role, particularly given her vocal prowess, some naysayers have questioned her ability to fully embody the character. And Grande gets it. During an interview on the Sentimental Men podcast, she discussed the scariest part of taking on the iconic role in the Universal musical, and it has everything to do with that doubt:

"I felt a little bit of the initial nervousness or the sort of preconceived notions about what I might be able to deliver or not deliver, or why I would be wrong or whatever," Grande shared.
