The black guy and Stampler are the laziest pussies ever to be on whitewater.if they replace Stampler you would get a lot more work done. I would love to see you guys succeed but working with lazy people like the ones I have described it is a losing proposition. Kayla out works the men.

Ok so I got into gold rush from the beginning with Todd Hoffman and that crew of clowns. The show is awesome and over the years it's kind of gotten bogged down and chopped up into a million different spin offs with different characters. Discovery along with a lot of other cable networks has struggled for content and its glory days of the early episodes and Deadliest catch etc.. I just don't think they can keep up with the streaming services which is the case unfortunately for many networks, but with Gold Rush "white water" they hit on an exciting premise. It's beautiful scenery in the mountains of Alaska where it is truly wild and untouched for most part. It's insanely dangerous and although these guys aren't the big operations that this area probably requires to be properly mined, they try anyway, and somehow they make it work. As far as logistics and making it safe as possible. These are just everyday guys, veterans and some old timer gear heads who can build and weld about anything. So in that way it is impressive. The dangers they constantly face and diving in that white water is totally insane. I love watching the show but calling them "gold miners" is a bit of a stretch. I mean 9 seasons and I think maybe they have found 15 ounces of gold lol. These poor guys always seem so close and then Mother Nature throws them a giant bolder or a flood wiped away their rudimentary set up and they have to start over. So in that sense the show is entertaining, more than anything else. The group it like able for most part besides Dustin. He's not as bad as some say. The guy puts up all the money and is under what seems is tremendous pressure and also probably in debt so his attitude is understandable. Now that Dakota Fred is gone the fighting between the 2 is over and although it was entertaining I'm glad Fred is gone (as far as being on the show). The bottom line is that White water is very entertaining as long as you don't expect them to find gold lol. The possibility is always there and once and a while a nugget or 2 comes up (I'm convinced they plant nuggets sometimes lol).but they always seem to conveniently run out of time or something and don't get the "big haul". I think this season they gotta find good gold or there's no way these guys can go out there and keep doing this insanely dangerous mining for basically nothing. They must get paid from discovery , but what I've heard that's not very much . I'm rooting for Dustin and the boys. White water has been by far the most entertaining and best spin-off of the legendary original seasons of gold rush. At some point a gold mining show needs to find some gold lol. Long live the guy who was on the first season who was addicted to pain pills. He was hilarious 🤣

It's a semi-scripted series, season 6 is great, they are Dustin's claims, he has bought them, he pays fir the equipment.

If the people around him didn't like it they would be out of there. Also they get paid by Discovery to appear! By crikey 4 or 5 months working hard getting many thousands per episode plus a % of any gold found... yeah Dustin must be upset by your reviews! He wins anyway!!! He gets some nice Gold, TV fees & repeats fees plus the world wide TV sales fees, then of course any appearance fees off season, any residuals like books, videos, T-shirts. Yeah Dustin and his team are crying in their champagne,

I have watched this show twice now and am thoroughly disgusted at Dustin's behaviour. The way he speaks to people and treats people is not acceptable. Especially his father. I realize that this show, like all the other reality shows, are scripted and if this is the type of behaviour that sells a show then it is wrong. If Dustin needs to be portrayed this way then he needs some help. Who would want to be portrayed as an egotistical abusive person for money. Dustin, if you think that makes you a hero, I've got news for you. I had so hoped the son of your father's girlfriend would have smashed you in the mouth, but to his credit he didn't. You sooo deserved it!

Yes, richlpz, I have never written a review either, but this show is not acceptable. Glad I am not the only one that thinks it is deplorable behaviour.

There is excitement, suspense but most importantly, likable characters. The shows in the Gold Rush family are staple entertainment for my husband. I'll maybe catch a few minutes of a show here and there. The main reason I'm not a bigger fan is the characters themselves. As soon as I feel the need to yell at or smack someone for their attitude or stupidity I leave the room. Not so with White Water. I actually binged the whole first season with him and did not want to unleash any of my violent tendencies! Can't wait for season two!

I have read how people don't like Dustin's behavior, BUT if you pay attention, he gives apologies when he is wrong, or kudos when jobs well done. Unlike Todd, Dustin gets in there and works hard along side his crew. And he works longer than most of the other crew members. He put everything on the line for this claim and his main thoughts are making him AND his crew rich, and SAFE!! I love the show because it isn't always whining and yelling. They get along for most part, and seem to like what they are doing. I love the humor with these guys. All reality shows are not totally real, but they seem to genuinely like each other and work hard as a team. When I first started watching original Gold Rush I was drawn to the Dakota Boys and absolutely love their own show! PLEASE don't keep saying "take it off air". If you don't like it...fine, turn the channel. But don't ruin it for those of us that really like the show!

I love the crew! But as Dustin says..if you don't want to be here then leave. The guy who left tonight(12/12/21) then BYE! I get Scott being a dick, but dot feed rocks up with the lift if you can PICK THEM UP! Put them in the basket and let your crew help you. That was a coward ways out that he left tonight. Just saying. Weak. Hold your own and get it done!! Period. It's gold and money!! Tempers are V real, but for $$$$$ then get it!!

This show was the first I watched about gold mining. After I have watched other shows including main Gold Rush series and I can tell this is better and more interesting for me. The beautiful nature, water and wilderness and the way how the gold is collected compared to bulldozers just attracts me more.

I have never written a review to any tv show in my life but after watching the latest episode of white water, I had to set up an account and leave a review of what I think was a horrible behavior (I'm been polite here) by Dustin. What happened to you from Porcupine times to turn you into this hater, egocentric maniac that speaks to people or better yet, to employees, the way that you do? I know better, no one does it better or how I wanted, no patience for anyone! I felt bad for you in the past while now you are coming accross as petulant know it all overgrown child. Shame on you for doing this to someone after it was done to you and knowing what it feels like. Between you and me... treat me like that and you might have ended up in the fire pit. Douche. Besides that, love the show. Fred it's coming along great. Keep it up.

This show could be an 8, 9 easily, just on its own merit, but the whiney, petulant, pouting, baby Dustin is a terrible distraction.

I know that Todd and Parker, and lately even Tony Beets have participated in unnecessary scripted soap opera nonsense in the "Gold Rush" series, but it's too bad they introduced it here, too.

If Dustin is behaving so badly - rude and so incredibly disrespectful to his father, moping around with a defeatist, impatient attitude *like a child*... if it's not done his way he does everything he can to make someone else's idea fail...if he's behaving like this because the show's producers asked him to, just to get a bit of drama in the show, shame on him! That makes it just as bad as if it is *not* scripted! What a goof!

I'll give it a charitable 5, because the other members of the crew, including dad, are so interesting to watch and listen to.

Note to the producers - if you want drama, put Dustin to work for Parker, and quit ruining this show!

Please keep it going. I don't know why I love this show, I wish I could explain it. I just know it's comforting for me and I could watch episodes back to back. Maybe it's the editing that's makes the show feel exciting or maybe it's that I feel that I learn something from the show or maybe it's the crew that feels like I family and I'm getting to know them. I just need this show to continue so I can remain updated with them, the problems they come across, their solutions and the gold they find. Keep the whole crew that's currently on and add more but not too many, haha. Would love to see another girl .

I like to see the gold that comes out, it's a testament to the advances we make as time goes on. What I can't stand is the monotonous drama week in week out. Even the actors, I mean minors don't look comfortable on the screen at times.

If they made a series a 2 hour long episode it would be more tolerable.

God, I love this show. There's nothing better than vicariously busting a gut and freezing one's nuts off in the hope of striking it rich....all from the comfort of one's armchair! This goes for Gold Rush too, which I also enjoy, but this is by far the better of the two shows.

This show is terrible. Gets worse every episode. 2 worst characters from gold rush. Neither can gold mine. And their band of merry fools... No one's making any money gold mining. They just rely on discovery cheques.

Can't believe this series have only 6.4. Totally underestimated. If you liked the first few seasons of Gold Rush, when the competitors were not bandying 5.000 onzes, you have to watch it, fresh fruit from rotten vegetables.

Love watching the solutions to BIG Problems,, Deadly environment is for REAL. One cannot fully understand the forces at play with Tons of fast moving water that can cripple or kill in a heartbeat. And filming in those conditions is near impossible ! That current will strip you of everything in a flash or leave you tangled beyond help even within reach of the surface...This has to be the toughest environment in which to film, and I'm sure many events went uncaptured. Ice Cold water that leaves you depleted and with teeth chattering, lips blue and deformed afterward, Carbon Monoxide poisoning,or falling enroute to divesite, just surviving is a victory in itself With just 3-4 hours of daylight and canyon winds even the drones would struggle..Breathtaking Views and Top of my watch list!!

It's boring. Every other gold mining related show is better than this. Take away "Gold Rush" as it's lead in and viewership will be limited to family and friends of crew and cast members. I gave it a chance, watched the first 6 episodes, but it just isn't interesting.
