Great scenario, screenplay, acting and directing. I've really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.
Comedy in general isn't about innovation but execution. This particular flick is no exception to the rule as it's filled with tropes and the usual comedic tricks available in the author's bag. That being said, Birsel does indeed show a knack for the rhythm of a scene and has become quite competent (if not masterful) in blind-sighting the audience leading up to the punchline. The characters and the script however aren't anything particularly original so it would be a stretch to give any scriptwriter credit for this. What really saves the day is the chemistry between the two lead roles and the brilliant acting overall. This is to be expected since all the actors picked to perform in this movie have proved themselves as top-notch comedic actors time and again. Well, I've enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to those in need of a good laugh.
Like always, she wrote an excellent scenario and collect right person for each role. She is the best comedy producer/author in Turkey.
The film is perfect in terms of subject, players, scenario and level.
you can watch it all together with your family, girl friend or alone because the language spoken is really levelled.

This film has received good comments everywhere. I do not think so. Overrated. It's an average movie. Acting is good. The screenplay can be estimated.

I like to watch a movie of Gulse Birsel who is one of the biggest scriptwriter in Turkey. She can create the funniest characters which make you laugh so much. This movie is like a part of her most famous TV series - Avrupa Yakasi. The charcters in the movie are so funny, the scenario is good, the actors are really succesful. Do not hesitate to go the nearest cinema and watch this movie.

Nothing i have not seen before. Perfectly normal a poor family and a rich family cliche as always. As i see actors are perfectly fit for the scenario but the scenario is not the price for them. You absoulutly can see many many cliches in the scenario. Events develop so quickly that you can't even imagine. This movie ends in a blink of an eye. Yet the events continued much better than the other many family movies. If you like watching average family movies yes you can watch this movie besides there are no good productions in recent times

That was the movie of last five years of Turkish cinema. Don't even remember last i have that satisfaction feeling. Great scenario, screenplay, acting and of course director did a great job as well. You probably can't that much from elsewhere but gulse birsel.
It's a great action - adventure comedy with lots of going inside. I love how director skips the parts boring audience with perfect skill. For example there is TS person who released by engin gunaydin at some point but instead take that and give that cheap, usual surprise scene that he learns the fact they just ve skip and use joke much worthier elsewhere.
Second most amazing thing about that movie i am not a crime solving guy but there is lots of mystery awaits till end of the film. And most film i know lots of audience wait that flows, blowing ext. But director did it so nice and soft it gives all the expected but making it so smooth and nice that doesnt break that comedy barrier because that is a comedy movie not a crime-investigation.
Looking back a great movie that not for only Turkish people or people who knows Turkish culture well but everyone likes humor.

Engin Gunaydin is an amazing actor who gets the movie off the hook. His roleplay might be the only reason to watch the movie. By the way, the movie contains a lot of editing mistakes such as disappeared objects and unrealistic jump-cuts. On the other hand, transexual person is an important point to emphasis.

I heard from everybody, the movie is wonderful. Yesterday i went to the cinema, watched it. It is completely overrated. Firsty, Screen was not full, Audio was Stereo only and comes to ears mono. Context was not funny at all. all viewers laugh only at certain time of the movie. That is so sad. I would not recommend.

According to scenario evolves on TV series I didn't expect to see a masterpiece. Was built by Gülse which is made my youth day at high school with Avrupa Yakasi. Demet proved herself again with an extraordinary role in this movie. She's a great talent.
It's probably one of the movies that I watched with my girlfriend, so I can be positive about it. Still, I didn't like it very much, to be honest, except for a few funny things. My girlfriend loves reading articles where I mention him, but I won't show this to her.
The story of the movie is ordinary. So, two couples break up and then they meet, etc. I think the fact that the male lead character is written as a bit "feminine" here makes the movie interesting because I am frankly tired of seeing Demet Evgar in the role of a very well-intentioned woman who violates her rights. No, people get bored with the same roles, etc. And you shamelessly cast the same woman, it's really interesting. Apart from that, there is a trans woman, she is a bit interesting, actually the role is funny and the real actress is like that anyway. As someone who is tired of these kinds of male-like male or male-like female roles being played by female men, she was also beautiful. Other than that, they are a very conservative family. They sell morality to everyone, but of course they are the most immoral ones. And it is a family that is progressive but also conservative, as if they synthesized the east and the west and established the ideal family. I mean, I feel ashamed even while writing it, but you know, these people are not ashamed while writing these movies. I don't know, I wonder if I'm being a little unfair, but no, friends, everything is political and the current state of the country has, frankly, put an end to art. Which I swear at least a little now, because I watched it with my girlfriend, I probably remember it much better than what happened, because we watched the movie laughing together. Afterwards, we see that this "feminine" father is actually a very big man, etc. Especially the end of the movie. I mean, that innocent woman, who pretended to be a feminist and so on, and then messed up everything and made up with this man just because he made a "marriage proposal" when she was supposed to be there for him, but wasn't... I mean, weren't you ashamed when you wrote this? The writing is so bad that it hurts when a "feminine" father is trying to give the message that he is a "hero" and "being feminine is not that bad", but suddenly gives the message "the man proposed marriage, he values you very much, forgive him for leaving him alone in one of your most important moments". At the end of all this, when I learned that the writer of the movie was Gülse Birsel, everything fell into place. The hatred towards "conservative" families and the attempt to disparage them in a parody way on the screen, just like in children's cartoons, check. Glorifying men while pretending to be a feminist writer check. And the fact that he criticized characters who were not "intellectual" like himself, like Müge Anli, was the cherry on the cake. The country is in such a bad state that after writing this article, I will enter the site and see the average score is around 7. I'm sure that the fact that this woman is one of the most important writers in the country, even though she shouldn't even be able to write in a newspaper under these circumstances, makes many of our quality writer friends as angry as I do, but life is like this, friends, there is nothing to do.
Let's talk about cinematography. There is no cinematography. No, I mean, there are no effects or shooting techniques whatsoever. There are times when the actors make funny faces, etc. I mean, I don't know what to say, they put cameras here and there, thinking it should be enough, but no, such lack of effort is a shame. There are about 10 songs in total, and it's as if the artificial intelligence was instructed and made to do it.
They really do well with their acting skills. The acting is of course good, but they have a huge mistake. Agreeing to act in this movie. That's the only good thing about the movie anyway, and I don't know how much I'd rate it, but it's all theirs, I mean, if they had gone and done a theater play instead of doing this, they would have had less effort, we would have watched it better, but anyway, they make millions no matter what they shoot, they don't really care about shooting good things.
The movie is full of Turkish comedy clichés, Gülse Birsel gets offended while trying to give a message by shouting, and I wouldn't have watched more than half of it if it weren't for my girlfriend. Don't even pass by it.

I have probably watched it 3-4 times so far and I bet I will watch again. Incredible screenplay, excellent directing and very talented actors. How can anyone not like this. They must have a grudge against the movie. Ignore haters and enjoy the movie. You will not regret it.
I have always been a fan of Gülse Birsel and her sense of humor after enjoying her Tv shows so I decided to watch her film too. It was the best comedy movie I have ever seen. In most comedy films, you cannot even laugh until you choke but I watched it at the cinema, and believe it or not we laughed until we lost our breaths. You should watch it. Beyond that, it gives a deep, strong message about what family means despite the stereotypical family films.
Gülse Birsel is doing this job. Significantly high quality among Turkish films. Good acting. Scenario is classic but not bad.
