Nothing to comment.worst movie.depressing.Never expected this kind of movie from mohanlal .
After almost 7 months of nothing, Mohanlal is back with a thriller, well sort of. Neerali works in parts. It's a great 'cliff hanging' movie, if you're into that sort of stuff and can make you sleep paralytic within minutes.
Neerali is so bad that 1 hour into the film you will adjust your inner film critic to the quality of the film so that subconsciously you will be satisfied that your money didn't go wasted just like that. Mohanlal was barely 'acting'. He was almost literally in pain throughout the dialogue deliveries and other dull plot devices. Suraj offers some amount of comic as well as 'acting' relief. Nadia Moidu was not even in the 'zone'. Casting was miles off. Young, energetic options were certainly available.
For a film that includes a 10cr + budget for VFX alone, Neerali is a sure disaster. The positives range from appreciable VFX work, great score and brilliant yet small subtleties that give this hard and unimpressive film a chance.
If Mohanlal continues this kind of performance in Odiyan, which is possibly the most hyped film of 2018, it is going to be really hard for fans to cheer for it.

I am so sad and upset watching this movie being a Lalettan fan. The direction is senseless and story is nonsense.
How can Lalettan accept such a stupid character where the movie was dragging all 2+ hours.
Release of Movie's original DVD in 30 days past theatre release answer the question of how good the movie was.
I feel that the title of the movie is not very suitable and also that the trailer is very misleading. The trailer gave me a wrong impression that the lead character of the movie is in (a wrong) relationship with various women which is not the case. (Initially. I even decided not to watch the movie after seeing the trailer.)
The protagonist in the movie is very realistic and does not possess great mental and physical capabilities (unlike heroes in 90% of other survival films). Acting is very subtle and does not contain 'severe' facial expressions. There are no great stunts. So in case the audience is expecting all these, they will be in for a disappointment. If you are in for how an ordinary person will respond to a terrible accident, you will enjoy the movie.

A failed attempt! The film lacks the depth and intensity that movies of this genre demands. Mohanlal tried his best, but a shoddy story and an illogical script put all his efforts in vain. Most of the the characters were wrongly casted. The climax lacks the much essential punch and thrill of an exciting survival film. Also, the film lacks logic at many places which makes this movie unbearable - especially, the monkey sequences...which makes me 'admire' the imagination skill of our scriptwriters...ohh! bayankaram thane...Overall not disappointed! (I have seen Mohanlal-movies even worse than this..)
