I stumbled across this film online, and clicked it the thumbnail, not knowing what it would entail or what I was jumping into.

I jumped into a pile of crap.

First, the direction. Not of actors, but of story. This is an atrociously weird bastardization of a film. It tries to be funny, but the director has all the sense of humor of a rock. The cinematography is very weird, and while it looks like it was shot with a high-quality camera. The DP cannot focus for the life of him, and everything looks like it was shot with a GoPro. None of the jokes land, and it comes across as a very, very strange product. The sound design is awful, VFX are mediocre at best, and the performances are surprisingly good.

Please do not watch this movie.

Competent direction, as well as good performances, nice cinematography, and a well-structured story make for an enjoyable short. Some jokes (such as the frozen one) did not land for me, and felt slightly out of place, but other than that, a very nice watch.
