Just this 2017 segment "Behind The Shower Curtain" has my heart in my throat racing & knotted stomach twisting, "boring" it ain't no such thing! Get there hence to that played out cretinous female Zahn for such description; there may be, understandably, variations between the crimes depicted, but to me only them as are wanting heightened degrees of graphic presentation would be let down here; the ramping up of "What's gonna happen?" suspense is what makes these depictions so absorbing. As usual with this attention-deficit-disordered outfit, they'll put out some few crumbs of a decently gripping, well-executed program (i.e. Over My Dead Body) only, not only for said bits never to be seen again, but another show like this one served up, to almost the same fate - an occasional reairing, however it is they decide that. Meanwhile Miss Polla goes un-merrily along for years, for me thankfully taking up space i can Attend Closely elsewhere. Well so it goes, I'm left just to monitor my 8-day program guide to pick out such items of interest, (not much) past & present, & surf the extensive on-demand offerings. Those "alone" have a welcome feature no Discovery Miscommunications on-air program does - the complete lack of that horrific onscreen trash they're spewing out like a disposal gone mad. This sample of what makes the IDiot channel actually preeminent in the field of crime documentaries may not be to all tastes, but certainly deserves better than 70%.
