This film tells the story of a Japanese man, who travels to Berlin hoping for a long term relationship with a man he met online. However, the German guy does not even let him stay the night, so he drifts around looking for love, while staying at a lonely Japanese man's place.

I had no idea how much sex scenes there are, and how explicit they are at all before I watched the film. The first ninety percent of the film basically is one hardcore sex scene after another. Then, when the story kicks in, I was unprepared for it because I did not expect any story. What surprised me even more was that the story was actually good. It highlights how Ryota wants love and attachment, but he is prone to being used by predators. The other Japanese guy, Kôichi, has a touching back story as well. He craves for attachment despite his solitary existence. The story is packed into a few scenes, and it is actually quite powerful. All the previous sex scenes climax into this story about wanting love, drifting from one man to another but ultimately unfulfilled. That's why when Kôichi's ghost from the past reappears into his life, it sends much shock waves through Kôichi. It is a touching story, I would definitely watch it again.I would be interested in the other films by the same director.
