Roger Ebert - Host: I think I'm on fairly safe ground when I say that the new thriller "Sahara" has the most preposterous plot I have ever seen, and I've seen every one of the "Indiana Jones" movies, not to mention "Armageddon".

Roger Ebert - Host: No, it's NOT awful! It's not awful.

Richard Roeper - Host: Roger, I understand what you're saying. It does have a lot of energy...

Roger Ebert - Host: It is a Saturday matinee entertainment.

Richard Roeper - Host: But it's just SO ridiculous.

Roger Ebert - Host: Oh, but that's okay!

Richard Roeper - Host: It's so STUPID.

Roger Ebert - Host: So you think James Bond is credible, right?

Richard Roeper - Host: Well, but y'know, but everybody in "James Bond" and those movies actually acts as if it could happen. And Matthew McConaughey is just doing bad Burt Reynolds "wink at the camera" stuff here. Penelope Cruz, you know she's a doctor because she has glasses and they put her hair in a bun. So okay, doc, thanks for stopping by and saving the world.

Roger Ebert - Host: She has a little red cross on her...

Richard Roeper - Host: Yeah. And I mean, I agree with you, there's a lot of fun with it, in maybe the first half hour or so, and then it just gets SO ridiculous and so stupid...

Roger Ebert - Host: It didn't bother me.

Richard Roeper - Host: ...That it drove me CRAZY...

Roger Ebert - Host: It would've bothered me more...

Richard Roeper - Host: It made "National Treasure" look like a documentary!

Roger Ebert - Host: It would've been bothered me more if it HADN'T gotten ridiculous.

Richard Roeper - Host: Well, you are the king of kindness on this one, my friend.
