Excellent movie. The more u have followed politics and Tamil films the more u will laugh.
I love this movie , This is one of the best comedy movie ever made in indian cinema , i have laughed like any thing, some seances and dialogue are absolutely brilliantine , shiva and satheesh are at there best. some of the the concepts of the movie is classical comedy which have ever imagine , must watch movie for comedy lovers , songs are okay but BGMs are very good , dont miss the movie.
Good Movie. As usual Shiva rocked by his rocking performance. Songs and BGM in the movie was also excellent. But the movie is not as excellent than its prequel. The movie was a bit lengthy in 2nd half. Anyways the movie was good. They trolled every celebrities and movies.
This is sequel of Tamil Padam 1. Same story line without story. This is spoof movie as everyone know about it. But this time the making went to the extreme spoof of current politics and the main targets are the leading actors of Tamil Industry.
The title song alone has all the guts to talk about leading actors, especially the line, I want U rating, Mass Opening and I don't care about people.
This movie has all the touch point to the references from most of the hit movies. Vettaiyadu Vilayadu Instinct, Remo Nurse and many more bringing the LOL out of the audience.
Siva as usual dialog delivery hero and the Villain Sathish's character chould have been better. There is no scope for Sathish.
Heroin Iswarya Menon will be hit. Songs are already hit. Music, Camera did their good part.
Second half has some lagging which could have done better to keep the laugh momentum.
This is laughter movie. So no hard feelings.

It's very easy to make fun of Tamil Cinema. But, you need creativity to make fun and at the same time, pay homage to the industry. Thamizh Padam 2 does that exactly. The film spoofs a plethora of films from Katthi to Saamy, Vedhalam, VTV, Thevar Magan and even Kabali to name a few. It was a relief to see Shiva return as "Shiva", the universal cop and 'Agila Ulaga Super Star'.
The film is fast-paced except for a flashback portion that - much like flashbacks in any Tamil movie - is slow and pulls down the film's pants. The songs were a distraction. For one, they were not as epic or memorable as "Oh Maha Zeeya" or "Kuthu Vilakku" or even "Pacha Manja" from the first film. Thamizh Padam 2's title song was the best of the entire lot.
Ishwarya Menon fits the bill as the writer calls it "maida maavu colour ponnu". Sathish reprises his role from the first film and is upgraded to the chief antagonist. I enjoyed the callbacks to the first film and the parody of news channels was spot-on.
Overall, Thamizh Padam 2 was a good, enjoyable flick. You should definitely add it to your watchlist.
