Killer Kate!

Ok so for some reason people took this movie seriously ,why ?no idea.

This is a fun slasher movie and they make fun of the slasher genre and all the cliches the entire movie.

I would give examples but I don't want to spoil it,but just think of Shaun of the dead and cabin in the woods,this is that kind of movie,don't take everything seriously.

So if you are looking for a fun time and want a silly and fun movie with some killing,this is a great choice.

Now you can take this as an insult or you may feel the same way about the movie and like it. Let's keep it real, there's a lot of things that can be said about this, most of them would not be nice or complimentary. That doesn't mean some will not have fun with this, if they like either the story or the predictable outcome of it all.

Characters are weak (as is the acting and the script, with some noteable exceptions like Tiffany Shepis, though even she struggles at times) and you probably will wish this to move on already - even though it has a short running time. Effects are ok for the budgets this must have had (so don't expect anything fancy). I'm sure most have better things to do with their time

If i can rate this movie in negative number, i would give it - 20. It's just so bad, the reactions of every character is just so awkward? I understand that it tries to create a comedic slasher movie but the actor and actresses acted so badly???? There are differences between awkward and comedic and this movie only contains awkward actresses and bad dialogue. Not recommending this to anyone at all. What a waste of my time.

A bloodthirsty but bland B-movie with nothing to recommend it apart from its brief run time, this vanity project is as woodenly acted as it is scripted. Several of director Elliot Feld's relatives are credited as producers, while his wife Alexandra plays the titular Kate, who joins estranged sister Angie (Danielle Burgess) on her bachelorette weekend in a housefor-hire in California solely to please their dying father. There's just one problem: the owner and his offspring are planning a mass slaughter (for reasons that make zero sense). Suspense-free - the title alone indicates where this is going - this is a chore to watch. Avoid.

This one is similar to "You're Next", but the home movie cam version. A Home invasion style comedy in which you actually get to root for the hero or heroine but unfortunately it's got a lot of weaknesses. For an action oriented film not a lot happens in it's short hour and twenty minutes. I liked the witty dialog but it feels cheap and the characters are all grossly unlikable. It's just on the cusp of homemade to the point that in one scene a character gets impaled from an angle that doesn't work and in the next scene they're laying there pretending to be dead and you can tell they're holding the impaling rod in their jacket.

There's a chance I'm missing some next level campyness but too much of the film is played seriously for me to believe that. Hopefully the director gets it right on the next one. I liked what they were trying to do but I can't recommend this one to anyone beyond those that like to laugh at bad films.
