The Immortal Wars: Resurgence

This "thing" is such a sorry crapfest. While watching it I reflected upon all the sins I ever committed and reasoned that this movie was God's punishment for them. My seat was my own personal hell.

Repent. The end is near.

I went into this not expecting much and even then I was amazed at how just plain bad this movie is. "Sets? We don't need no stinkin' sets, just get all the plastic sheets you can find." Then there's, "talent? We don't need no stinkin' talent. Just get Eric Roberts, He'll do anything for a paycheck." Then there's "FX? I'll let my kid do it on his laptop." Then there's "script? I'll just write it as we go along." Then there's "actors? We can't have real actors, we spent our budget on Eric Roberts." Even if I don't take all that into consideration this "movie" still stinks. I guess this movie does have some value, if nothing else it shows just what not to do with film.

Huge fan of Carcass Studios, so happy to have gotten my copy! This one is definitely my favorite of the two! The cinematography was fantastic, fight choreography was amazing, and the acting was just amazing! Highly recommend giving this indie film a chance :)

Do yourself a favor and skip this movie, unless you want a good laugh at how amateurish it is. If you have time to waste then give it a shot. However, some of the reviews on here are hilarious and accurate, reading them was far more entertaining than this piece of crap movie! This guy makes the same trash over and over again. The sad part about it, he thinks they're great. Somebody please tell him the truth because apparently he's not taking heed to the reviews. The cinematography, sound design, set design, acting, and everything else is terrible. Whatever you do, just stop it, sci-fi is not for you, try another genre.

Not much more to say. The first film captured my interest, and my imagination. It is a niche film; for which I am a perfect example of the intended audience. In comparison, this sequel was a slow slog. But the girls looked good; and there was an earnest attempt to simulate martial arts. I loved the first film. This one was a real disappointment.
