What a story! Introspectrum motel is a thrill from start to finish. The least we can say is that the writers had no shortage of ideas, with some surprising twists! Revenge is clearly a dish best served cold, and cheated spouses know how to savor it! Although I felt the film was a little long-winded at times, and the ending, at least for me, remains very enigmatic, this independent film is worth seeing. I particularly enjoyed Michelle Wright's performance (Felipe's wife). Some of the shots are also noteworthy, especially the outdoor scenes, which I found to be particularly well shot. However, I found the sound disturbing, to the point where I couldn't understand certain lines...

Very well wasted, don't get me wrong the acting in this movie is on pare with that of The Room. Really I can't imagine comparing this movie with Basic Instinct, now that movie was the sexist film in the early 90's. I've never even heard of this film till today. At times it was a pain to sit through and the ending had no payoff what so ever. I give this movie a hard pass,

Man, this thriller got me all wrapped up in its web of intrigue! The characters, man, they were something else, with performances so introspective and brooding that they left me feeling like I knew them like old friends. And the themes, man, they were so compelling, taking me on a wild ride of emotions and ideas. But what really got me going were the plot twists, so many of them, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
I gotta say, this flick is fresh, man. Like a breath of fresh air in a stuffy room, it left me intrigued and hungry for more. And I ain't just blowing smoke, man, this one's the real deal. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a wild ride of a thriller with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. So don't hesitate, man, check it out and let yourself get swept up in the madness!

This isn't really a good movie in any sense of the word. Its a waste of time, but I thought the actors and actresses did a good job. I do not recommend anyone see this, other than to confirm that these low reviews are actually pretty honest. I have no idea how anyone could give this a 10/10. I mean, that is saying this movie is on par with directors like Francis Ford Coppola or Christopher Nolan. This is kind of the opposite. I dont want to be rude so this movie gets a 2/10 because of the actors.
Other than that. This movie felt like a giant regret and waste.

The scrip fails. For a movie that's use 1:28 hours of foottage, feels like more than 2hs. Repetitive. Very boring.

I really enjoyed the slow-burner that is "Introspectum Motel". Marcel Dorian delivers an introspective, moody, and atmospheric two-hander, set largely in a chic but desolate hotel. The dialogue was intriguing, filled with double entrees about "chasing mice", "the golden rule", and other brain-tickling metaphors. Also some great quotes - "F***k Christmas" was particularly good. The widescreen anamorphic cinematography presented in 2.35:1 on what seemed to be a modest budget, felt expansive and captured the interior spaces beautifully. There's a great twist approximately midway through I won't spoil here but is worth sticking around for.

Introspect Motel has got the reigns on multiple strong themes. Loyalty and trust. Revenge and fear, even tying basic human instincts into it. There are a lot of layers that the film peels off. Some are ripped off and some are slowly, painfully, rolled off. Great acting and kudos to the writer. It was awkward not being able to like any of my main characters by the time the film was over but like I said, each one of these people had layers to them which made for a very interesting film.

This film at time of writing has a 3.7 star rating which tells you everything you need to know. The writing of this film isn't very good, its very wooden, wordy and dull. The way this film was shot could have been a lot better, but i put that at the feet of the director. I think the director of this film wore too many hats, he co-wrote it, acted the main part in it, produced it and directed it, and because he is a jack of all trades, ruined it.
The movie is not shot with any style, which really lets down the more steamy sexy moments of the film, compare it to films like basic instinct or 9 and a half weeks, the sex scenes in this are very dull. The lead roles are quite wooden, and by the time the film is over you are so bored you don't care how the film ends. This is one to avoid.

Absolute dirt. How this is getting good reviews is beyond me. A tale of revenge and regret. Boring and in realistic. Dragged out and left unsatisfied with a poor ending. Give this one a miss.
Introspectum Motel is a drama film directed by Marcel Dorian and stars Marcel Dorian, Joseph Steyne, Gabriela Brinza, Michelle J. Wright and Laura Ellen Wilson.
Two strangers met at a motel and they uncover their hidden connection; together, they are forced to confront their choices, their shared history, and ultimately their humanity.
This film is totally senseless and baseless and noting more then a directionless softporn film. The plot of the film gives a very minimal glimpse of an interesting thriller film but as the film progresses the interest diminishes.
Acting is average to decent and screenplay of the film is very slow, although the length of the film is just of 1.30 hours but it seems that the film was running for ages. Climax of the film doesn't gives any closure and it seems that the director was directing a film with no proper closure.
If you can digest any softporn film then this is the film for you others please ignore.

Pretentious, and boring, with a side dish of hypocrisy! Since the lead guy isn't the only cheat.
The pacing is slow with the script, and story being incredibly simple. It's a revenge story that has some holier than thou preaching as the revenge is taking place.
Some of the lines, and scenarios are incredibly dumb. Like the man who is committing revenge claims he has a student die in a car crash whilst taking a selfie. Like literally no one is dumb enough to do that. It's used as a preach point.

One always has to be wary of movies in which the same person is the writer, Director and lead actor. They are usually vanity projects. Often, the person is a hopeless actor, and the other actors are equally bad. This film highlights all of the above. The hallmarks of low budget are all present, poor audio, tacky sets, and shoddy camera work. The first 20 minutes are enough to tell any viewer that this is a film to be avoided at all costs. The acting is wooden and amateurish, and the dialog appears improvised. The many nude scenes add little value to the story. It is a really bad movie, very, very bad!

What I loved about this movie was the combination of slow burn sexual tension and suspense which kept me gripped until the end.
The thrills were in the plot twists, the dialogue and the interwoven relationships of the main characters, rather than some of the usual thriller type shocks and action.
Joseph Steyne's performance was one of the standout highlights for me - switching from aggressive intimidator to lost, vulnerable husband - I wanted to hug him and take him home at the end! Just brilliant!

This movie's strength is the cinematography and production design. It looks beautiful! The European locations, especially the exterior shots, are really cool. The makeup is wonderful too. The actors bring a compelling presence to the screen, especially the female characters.

I literally love the fact that all actors in this movie are playing their role so good. I mean, I have watched movies with bigger actors witch didn't deliverd no kind of feeling/emotion, they were there to fill up the space.
Love this movie. Once it started makes u to want to know how the end will going to be and it's WORTH IT!!!
