Life is not just hard, but it can be tough and bad to go through. Like when you are still fighting with the past and your choices from back then. The movie focuses on three people here - but you may still have issues following their train of thoughts throughout their journey. Especially when it comes to understanding why they do what they do.
But life also can be complicated and not easy to make sense of. Add to that choices others make that seem completely insane to say the least. Depending on how much you are able to take - there are borders that are being crossed here. Not just mentally speaking too. There are some visuals that some may take offense with. Like a very explicit oral pleasuring scene. Is it necessary to be included in the movie? I don't know - it wants to drive home a point and be offensive in a way.
Same goes with the scene in the park. But at least it is politically correct. Even if that does not make it better (the assault that is) ... it is moments of life put together. Where to go, what to do? Decisions decisions ... to watch or not to watch? If you like slow burning drama, you may give it a shot.
