Very Important Film

Anyone who is against unnecessary cruelty should watch this film.

Very interesting and informative in itself. People who don't believe that this kind of cruelty would not be allowed should definitely watch this film as it provides proof that is does.

Eye Opening and Heart Breaking

Up there with Earthlings and Dominion. An excellently narrated documentary, shocking footage showing the hard cold truth of humanity's systemic exploitation of animals. It does a brilliant job at highlighting one of the most important social issues of our time.

Painful in every sense

An important movie about the reality animals have to go through. I found it throughout Heartbreaking and painful to watch. Sad, realizing nothing seems to change. Furious, knowing these dark chapters happen behind closed and sealed doors. Aghast, this is obviously part of our advanced society.

Why we do this?

Why we do this to other living souls? We are so cruel as a species, we do what we want just because we are at the top of the food chain. I would like aliens to invade us and treat us same way we treat animals in farming facilities, but i guess not even that will change our ways. We are doomed as a species , sooner or later we will kill everything in out sight, we care only about ourselves. This movie should be shown in schools.

Educational for those of us living in ignorance

This was painful to watch. Having seen Earthlings I was hopefully the UK would in some way be more humane..... it's not. This film is short and straight to the point. We are lead to believe UK farming is in some way superior and it's just not the case. This should be shown in schools as part of kids education to allow them to make informed life choices. I was a meat eater before I watched this but I'm not anymore. Transition to vegan was actually easy! This film changed my life.

A horrific documentary about animal abuse

If you consider yourself a moral person, please just watch this documentary, especially if you live in a Western country and you think that lots of horrible things happening on this world are happening in the East!

I'm sure lots of people will reconsider their morality after watching documentaries like this one.

But if you don't want to bother and skip this as always to another TV series period drama with 800 episodes! Then don't consider yourself a moral person, you're not simply an ethical person, that's it, so simple!

Everyone who uses any form of animal products is supporting these horrific acts. You can't simply close your eyes and say... I love the taste of them!!! You are talking about some animals that are being tortured and suffering every second and guess who's paying for that to be done over and over... YOU!

I'm sure a lot of people risk their social status and even their security to film these footage. Future generation with better ethical status will thank them gratefully and remind these years as a horrible stone-age kind of thing.

The question is not, Can they reason? Nor, Can they talk? But, Can they suffer?

Important viewing for UK

As a country that prides itself on having some of the highest animal welfare standards in the world this is shocking viewing. It is easy to live with the delusion that although animal agriculture is bad in other parts of the world eating British products makes you somehow exempt from those problems.

This dispels any notion that British farming is even close to humane, hard viewing but worth a watch.

don't close your eyes to reality

Not much has changed since the release of the Earthlings (2005) documentary. Records from 2016-2017 obtained from various English farms in the meat, dairy, and egg industries attest to this fact. I've heard many people argue that activists selectively choose the worst moments from countless hours of footage to support their cause. That's simply not true. Individuals who infiltrate these facilities with hidden cameras come, record, and depart. They don't have the time of spending half a year capturing hundreds of hours of footage there just to select the two most distressing minutes. What you see in this video is a reflection of what occurs across the entire industry of animal husbandry; it's standard practice. The documentary is freely available for distribution, so please feel free to share it in order to raise awareness among as many people as possible.

Exposing the most humane country

Land of Glory and Hope exposes the UK farms that are considered as the most humane animal farms in the world, it debunks that humane means anything positive when combined with murder.

This documentary shows footage of pigs, cows and birds being brutally slaughtered. It also shows how lambs get slaughtered in a way even more unregulated. The lack of sanitation, humanity, basic human decency in this movie can shock someone into considering veganism as a philosophy.

If anyone watched this I would recommend Dominion as it is a higher quality and a more ambitious production, a way larger group effort to expose what happens to animals all over the world.

It is inspiring to see what a youtuber or a public figure can achieve and how they can get the means to expose this exploitation on their own, how these people put out this information for free, how you can watch so many vegan documentaries on youtube with no cost.
