Wow, this is an awful movie. The acting was so bad it was almost comical. The writing was horrible & unrealistic. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of Ellen Hollman. She's the only one who could act & the only reason I didn't turn it off after 15 minutes.

Crossover between Rambo and I spit on your grave. Poor acting flooded with all the clichés one can wish for. Not too bad to watch if you're mostly occupied with something else and have one eye to spare on the screen.

Does anyone find it odd that every good review on this movie has a new account created on the same date the movie was released and its the only review the user has ever done 🤔🤔🤔

What's more disappointing than this very bad movie is the high rating reviews, which I watched the movie based on them! I tried to find anything good in story, acting, or directing but couldn't. Even the music was so ridiculous and the transition between scenes was even more stupid. Don't waste your time on this!

More terrible writers from Hollywood.

These two women writers must NOT know anything about being a Army Ranger or the military. Story was very poorly written. Everything this "Women Ranger" did was just stupid. Why would you write a story about a topic "Being an Army Ranger" that you know nothing about?

Movie writers in Hollywood do not have a clue.

If you want to watch 6'4 250lb men getting beat up by a 5'8 105lb women in poorly scripted fight scenes... Then watch away...

6.5 really!? When did the bar get that low!? Did I miss the memo!?Why have a review system when this is what a 6.5 fating looks like!? SHAMELESS!

This film is atrocious. The first ten minutes are okay, but it goes downhill fast. The acting is of a questionable level, and the characters are horribly one-dimensional. The latter wouldn't be an issue if the fight scenes were good, it's an action flick after all. Sadly they are not. The actors freeze so long after a blocked strike, you can easily count to 2 Mississippi before the next move is made. It's so fake I laughed out loud on more than one occasion.

Couldn't make it through the movie it was so bad. If it were a comedy maybe it could work but as a drama/thriller it's a stinker. The acting, writing and frankly, the plot, are all just really bad.

I had really high hopes going into this...but switched off after 30 minutes, for the following reason:

Any film where a couple just wander into an UNLOCKED weapons bunker (which they thought was someone's home)...and precede to have sex on a filthy couch and wrap their naked bodies in sheets they just found...is not a film for me. It just wouldn't happen. There IS a certain type of woman that would have sex anywhere and on anything, but this woman wasn't one of them so...

Going in to get out of the rain is fine and believable...but the rest is just ridiculous.

Film-wise 2021 is off to an awful start...I hope things get better.

Wasn't sure which direction this was going when the movie begins. In fact, you think it's about the husband (Matt Passmore, great actor) but WOW it goes in a completely different direction that I expected! It was dirty, gritty and a wild action filled 90 minutes. I would recommend for a Friday night takeout with the fam!

If you're looking for a movie you can tune out and enjoy the ride then this is up your alley. Really enjoyed the final action sequence at the end that looks like it was in all one shot, very well done.

Obviously somebody was getting paid to write positive reviews. The writing is bad enough but the acting is even worse. A bunch of redneck hillbillies terrorize a young couple, who just happen to be a copy and a ranger. It just goes downhill from there.

So hard to say the writer is more idiot or the director but this movie is flaw galore, mistakes pool and.... Bad written, bad directed, bad played... one of the worst screenplay of the century!

Terrible movie. Hard to believe that people are rating it above 5, must be paid shills. It's a lazy plot filled with one-dimensional characters, bad acting, questionable decisions, and fight scenes with zero intensity.

The film spends some time establishing a bit about the husband's backstory, which is time wasted given that even the description says he's going to die early on.

She gets shot...in the head? But actually didn't get shot that bad? There's blood, but no injury bad enough to hamper the revenge plot?

Some sheriffs come to the scene of dead body. Then decide to go see "mama" and.... just leave the body there? No interest in the crime scene at all?

Protagonist doesn't seem to want to obtain weapons. Has an axe, uses it to sharpen a stick, then discards axe. Fights the bad guys one-on-one as she comes across them.

They randomly come across the same guy while driving down the road, while eating lunch, and after banging in some creepy house in the woods. Perfectly convenient.

Terrible acting , terrible dialogue. Story doesn't make sense way too many errors avoid.

I don't know how it got 5.2 stars but someone is peeing on your leg and saying it is raining. Couldn't even finish it, wasted $5. 😒

If youre looking for something that isn't a bore but not spectacular this is the movie. Action was good though.

Crap acting,crap story,crap continuity. Just crap.

Anyone who gives this more than 2 needs to watch more movies.

Normally I wouldn't give a movie like this a high score but considering the super low budget aspect I have to say it was impressive. It didn't have an endless piggy bank to support it and almost despite that it rises to the occasion. Army of One is a great action thriller for a Friday night on the couch,

From the poster alone you can't expect a high brow intellectual journey but was definitely entertaining which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Action was on point.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen.a COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE PLOT WITH POOR ACTING SO WHATS TO LIKE.
