I love movies that mess with the mind of the characters as well as the audience. This is a thriller that will keep you engaged until the end. It's a movie that takes time revealing its motives and I enjoyed the twist and also didn't see it coming. It was cool to see Gregg Henry doing his thing. I liked him in Payback. Director Tim Morrill is talented and obviously invested a lot of time and passion into this film. I was also impressed with the amount of locations that they used in the film. They utilized their budget well. It was also very creative with some of the techniques used to view the minds activities. Well done!
The lighting was really bad. I don't know if this was shot with an iPhone 4s or some old relic like that. It just did not have a natural visual appeal.
The acting was poorer than the lighting. If you cannot cast decent actors at least cast some eye candy. These were some gnarly looking folks who can't act. Odd lighting just made them look 100x worse.
I wish I could have made it more than 15 minutes but I had to shut it off. This was not a feature movie and my eyes were getting tired from the terrible onscreen fiasco. Sometime you just have to trust your gut and cut your losses. I commend those who powered through the end and found some unused 10s in their pocket to handout.

Look into the Fire is one of those movies that takes itself on a journey of twists and turns. But it does so naturally.
The acting is really solid in this film with everyone giving their A game. Jackie Dallas, who you may know from such television shows like Stranger Things, Magnum PI, and Criminal Minds, appears in this movie in one of her strongest roles, so if you are a fan of hers, you'll love this one.
Gregg Henry from Slither and Guardians of the Galaxy is in this movie as well and man does he give an intense performance. Definitely one of my favorite character actors!
The camerawork and sound editing is top notch in this film, as well as the music score. Very moody and atmospheric, I was really drawn into the movie.

His is an excellent, moody, brain-teasing piece that had me glued to the screen till the great reveal at the end. In a lot of ways it reminded me of a mix between the indie hit 'Primer' because of all of the sciency stuff and the 1980s movie 'The Flatliners' because the main characters are college students running experiments on themselves. There's another movie it reminds me of but I can't say more without spoiling the ending for this one. All of the actors, but especially the main actor and the actress who played his sister, are fantastic! This is a slow-burn but a definite must-watch if you like brain-teasers.
Tim Morrill's 'Look Into The Fire' is similar to Flatliners where student's do some research into how the mind works but it awakens a deep, chilling truth when tested on the antagonist.
Cinematically smooth storytelling from edited scene to scene that is enhanced by stellar all star performances. This is a movie that should be studied how to masterfully tell a story within the confines of a limited budget. It is a fun thrill rise that keeps you in your seat as you watch it!
If you know how to read film then you know this movie is a calling card for Tim Morrill's bright future as a director and writer.
