Usually sport drama is one sided but who would have thought that a Singapore series from 1989 could be this entertaining and interesting plot about swimming.
Qiaohua and her younger sister Panpan are attending to the Olympic Games of swimming that will be held in Barcelona 1992. However their father is against that both of hem are attending as he wish that Panpan will succeed her dream and since Qiaohua is the oldest she should instead get a job. But the trainer sees potential in Qiaohua, despite the bullying she get passed. But there is one more problem,and that is their manager is a an extremely feminist and doesn't like the trainer is a male and hire a new trainer, a female trainer from a foreign land, but she is cruel and soon all hell break lose.
Normally I'm not into sport drama, but this drama proves me wrong. It has a lot of heart and Li Ping Chen is the most attractive actress of all time, the humor is funny, the characters are likable and the plot is interesting. I hope all will watch this 1989 classic series.
