Maybe on some other language, Croatian, Hungarian or Greece, but on English, this movie, all characters, sound and story are totally different, so naive and unpleasant.

I'm surprised that nobody thinks this movie was intentionally made this bad to serve as a parody of horror movies in general. Those last few scenes seem pretty parodic to me.

Well, it is. Tom Sizemore is a useless Manager replacement. I have never been impressed with this bloke and this film has done nothing to change my view.
I can't really say that I like C.L.E.A.N., but it has enough crazy, mystery and goofy sequences (especially, the basement scenes and the final) to make it a mildly entertaining guilty pleasure.

What. Why is everyone saying it's a masterpiece it was literally filmed on a phone nothing was good in it not even the story 2/3 of the people in the cinema left before the end.
The acting skills are horrible, music is amateurish, no point
I've only rated as high as 3 because of a random assortment of strangely excellent facets in the film. The score, several members of the cast, and a few sequences make it seem like it is cut out to be something much greater than it is.
However, for the majority of the main cast, the acting is subpar. Two main characters are dubbed over in english, even though the film is already in english, and the actors are already speaking in english. Presumably, being a croatian film with local talent, the original actors' voices were too accented. However, i feel like this could have added a layer of authenticity i felt was very absent from the film, what with the jarring interjections coming from actors who's voices did not match or sound even relatively close to what the line delivery had to have been intended.
Like the title says, it feels like three films spliced into one. A supernatural creature feature, a psych ward horror-thriller, and a mystery laden drama. The film as is does not come close to any of these as a whole. Some reviews say it feels psychedelic, surreal, and this is true. And at some points, this is meant in a positive way. But it fails extremely the majority of the time. It seems to be also have a blend of satiric and comedic aspects, but not nearly enough to be classified as such and entirely too much for the film to be taken seriously as it is. Plot points of the film were also casually introduced and then never touched again very often. Not in a manner of red herring, but in a manner of dropping chekhov's gun and shooting yourself in the foot with it.
I will credit that the score is wonderful. It's a very classically frightening one, that kept tricking me into thinking i was watching a better movie than i was. Yes, it was cheesy or played at times (a music box theme that was so frequent that i thought it would turn out to be an element in the story, or at least a character's backstory. It was not.), but it supported the film more than the entire cast, and every detail of the plot combined.
One of the best actors in this movie was tom sizemore, and he molested a preteen in 2002. That's the caliber for this. I will say however that the lobotomized looking maître'd/busboy was an excellent talent that deserves to be in much more than this. A very chilling expression is kept on him the entire film that again, like the score, leads to the impression of a much more impressive film.
In all... no, it's not a big time film and it should not be treated in regards to one. But it is an annoying insult to indie films to pretend this mess is a product of budget restraint or lack of name recognition and not of absence of writing and acting talent for the majority. Its biggest failing is honestly the fact i wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Nor would anyone. It's not comically bad, it's not so bad it's good. It's boring and uneventful and feels like a genuine waste of my time, unlike most bad films. I really don't recommend it.

Needless to say that I had indeed never even heard about this 2020 mystery thriller titled "C. L. E. A. N." prior to stumbling upon it by random chance. And since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.
Writer Konstantin Georgiou delivered one of the most ridiculous and boring scripts and storylines that I've suffered through in a long, long time. Needless to say that this movie failed to entertain me in any way.
Of the entire cast ensemble, I was only familiar with two performers, and that was Costas Mandylor and Tom Sizemore. Most of the acting performances were amateurish to say the least.
A lot of the dialogue in the movie was delivered with a very rigid and wooden delivery from the actors. I suppose maybe it was because the majority of the actors and actresses didn't have English as their native language.
Let me warn you before you waste 110 minutes on watching "C. L. E. A. N."; it simply isn't worth the effort.
My rating of director Aurelio Toni Agliata's 2020 movie "C. L. E. A. N." lands on two out of ten stars.

I can't tell if this is a thriller, horror, action or comedy. For me the quality is great in the film. The Monster (CGI) turned out great! It didn't have the best acting but was okay. It wasn't that jumpy or to scary but did have a few scares and funny moments. It is a great movie to go see during Haloween. But Costas Mandylor as Dr. Sutter still managed a very good performance.
It's concept alone is already good and interesting enough to please the genre fans and provides the potential for an infinitive amount of C.L.E.A.N.-sequels.
Lets hope "C.L.E.A.N. 2" will have some fresh new good ideas and more interesting characters in it.

Ok. So I see that a Lot of people on here are seriously trying to trash this Movie. This is a solid indie-horror Flick not an Oscar Worthy Contender where people die slowly and it grips the heart with it's drama. It's not bad for a European film.
Tom Sizemore over-acts occasionally little, but many guys who play a manager seem to have this problem! A good performance was put in by the actors who played Noah and Alice. The funniest part in the movie is the guy who plays Ruru. The direction is not the best, the film takes too long to climax. Is the movie terrible? No. It's not as bad as everyone made it out to be.
Likes and dislikes being what they are and being tied exclusively to the individual doing the liking or disliking.
C.L.E.A.N. gets 6/10 from me.

I really enjoy it to watch this movie!! This movie is not without its flaws in logic and plot, but in what it attempts to do, it's incredibly successful. A great and solid indie-horror movie in time for Halloween.
As a horror film, C.L.E.A.N. works fine and creates an atmosphere that is so rare in films nowadays.
Performance-wise, Tom Sizemore steals most scenes, filling them with a patented loony, off-the-wall performance. Costas Mandylor gives the best performance of his career, he portraying Dr. Sutter as a simple, poignant, tragic everyman.
Equally good is Jenny Paris as Alice. She holds her own, injecting her character with both wild energy and strength as she collapses under the weight of what she comes to believe. And Vjekoslav Katusin is an especially convincing Satan. He is devilish, with fiendish appeal, proving that tranquillity is the most terrifying evil.

Wow, this is definitely one of the most strangest movies I've watched in a long time. C.L.E.A.N. is a dark, yet dazzling film. A terrific story backed up by spectacular special effects and pull us into a dark and dangerous world/place.
Costas Mandylor gives a fantastic turn as Dr. Sutter. All the supporting actors were great, and my only issue is that they didn't get enough screen time to explore their characters further. Surprisingly, Tom Sizemore gave a good performance. It wasn't amazing but it was much better than I expected.
Jenny Paris is terrific as well. Her tortured and soulful performance is the best of the film. I must say the special effects (The thing/monster) at the end of the movie were incredible!
People that don't like to see supernatural stuff probably will hate it. If you like dark fantasy/mystery story, it's definitely the one for you to watch. Go see!!

Watched this one yesterday. It was stressful! I read some negative reviews but i think we need more unique stories like this one.
I think this movie is one you will love or not. This isn't a slasher screaming teen movie - it takes watching and some ability to think a little. It was a great idea with tons of potential. The protagonist had a single layer of depth, which you do not find out about until towards the end. 7/10

This is a nice little European horror movie, with a potential to develop a bit of cult following. the whole thing has weird and slightly psychodelic atmosphere. there are plenty of scenes that are shot from unusual angles, or distorted through objects like glass bottles etc. the music is nice and it fits the atmosphere. the acting is mostly over the top, with a couple of ridiculous supporting characters. the movie could use a subtitles though - or not - depending on if you want to take it seriously, or just have some mindless fun with it.
Really good movie, definitelly something different. It has potential for story development and hopefully we will see more sequals.
The music is improving the overall experience and it gives suspense atmosphere to the movie.
