Mysteries of the Abandoned

Seriously, does anyone proofread what the narrator says? Does anyone watch/listen to the final product? He says "ominous" at least once per site, someone please teach him about synonyms. He constantly says "forbidding" instead of "foreboding", please teach him the difference. He pronounces macabre maca-bruh. His grammar is atrocious. There are some really interesting places featured but the narrator is so god awful it's hard to watch.

Nusbacher's fake, affected accent and odd speaking cadence is INCREDIBLY distracting.

In many episodes there is too little to see while historians and engineers that review the sites leave the impression they have never been on the sites they comment about but have been shown video clips of these places ,. The series suffers from the typical American television o phenomenon of repeated narration and repeated clips of the same material , so typical with National Geographic , Discovery Channel and the sort.

Overall, the show is pretty interesting. However, I cannot stand to listen to Dr. Nusbacher. The over-annunciation of every word is annoying.

Totally disagree with everyone about Dr. Nusbacher. First saw her on history channel , commenting on WW2 history. Found her to be very knowledgeable and informative. Did what you all did and looked up her history, saw what you saw. Who cares? Really? Let's talk about her energy and zest for teaching. I find her loud, enthusiastic delivery, engaging and fun. Would love to have had more teachers like that during my educational years. Andrew Gough is the one with over the top drama and absurdity. Would rather watch 10 hours of Lynette over 10 minutes of that drama queen!
