28th STOCKHOLM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. DAY 3, NOV 10th 2017. Nordic premiere.
For all its good intentions and incredibly important subject and message, the film fails on the most basic level: it doesn't engage.
At age 80, iconic, legendary British actress Vanessa Redgrave visited Stockholm International Film Festival on November 10th to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and to take part in the Face-to-face session for her directorial debut: documentary "Sea Sorrow" (2017). The face-to-face was lovely and amazingly entertaining with Redgrave's great intelligence and wit. Sadly, the film was not.
