Recensioni in evidenza
This for me is way better than all the over hyped nollywood wedding party, Chief daddy and what-have-you. The humour wasn't forced, it came about naturally. Fantastic acting and great plot. Really enjoyed it.
I went into this thinking it wouldn't be that good but I was so engrossed, the whole movie was like a ball of sunshine, it makes you laugh and smile along with the characters!

I loved loved watching this movie with its excellent plot, screenplay directing and Dakore and the cast delivered so well on the acting. Our culture and heritage was fully represented.Oscar worthy if it was in indigenous category. Definitely a 10/10 for me
Isoken is the perfect illustration of brilliant storytelling meets brilliant production.
That traditional wedding scene was a thrilling opening moment of the film. It was crowned with colorful aso ebi plus Flavour's song "Golibe" playing in the background😍😍 It set the tone for the remainder of the movie, we were just dazzled!
No stone was left unturned, everything was executed with meticulous details which is rare in Nollywood. From the work behind the scenes to the front of the scenes, the cast and crew gave 200%.
Dakore Akande (playing Isoken), who usually gives off inconsistent performances, gave her all; she was classy, funny, girly, down-to-earth, but also frustrated and unfulfilled as she wanted to break out of the traditional system.
The dialogues were very poignant addressing the burdensome state of our culture in terms of dating and marriage pressures. We finished Isoken being encouraged to stand for happiness against all odds.
We look forward to more films from Jade!!
