A Bold Glimpse into Art and Extremism

"Wasati," directed by Ali Kalthami, is a compelling Saudi short film that shines a light on extremism and cultural expression in a sensitive yet thought-provoking way. Based on real events, the story follows an incident in Riyadh where a play was attacked by extremists, reflecting the challenges faced by the arts in a conservative society.

The film earns a solid 7/10 for its ambitious storytelling and cultural relevance. The acting is commendable, with performances that draw the viewer into the tense atmosphere. Good movie

The movie is one of the most strong telfaz 11 movies, very beautiful How did the director express the beauty of Saudi Arabia with the eyes of someone who would lose his sight in several years, This is what I liked about it. As for the part of the beating, it was real, but I did not like it because it showed the film as if it was a documentary

Fear of The Truth

The movie is incredible. If you're considering watching this movie.. please do! You won't regret it.

What leads me to write this review is the amount of 1-star reviews that this movie received; All left by trembling cowards that would rather spend their entire lives in fear of the truth than to speak it for a day.

Even after all the changes that happened in the past few years, it appears the "Flock" mentality is still going strong.

This movie is real. And what you'll see is only the tip of the iceberg. Atrocities were carried in the name of god and religion against artists, writers, thinkers and believers of the possibility of a moderate world.

Sorry for the rant, I'm truly upset by the childish reviews on this movie and the other Saudi movies & I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Good

The style of narration in this movie was normal , but sometimes it was bad, there is an acceleration in events, especially in the end, sometimes it includes pictures and narrators, above all, there was an excellent representation ,wonderful directing by Ali Al-Kalthami and good production
