Rondon, o Desbravador

Based on the fictitious meeting between Marshal Cândido Rondon (Nelson Xavier) and a journalist for an interview at his residence, the military man, a great leader, idealist and responsible for policies to encourage peaceful coexistence between indigenous peoples and whites, revisits your story. There is no lack of remarkable moments, such as the nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1957.

Despite the part of the interview being fictional, a movie does it justice and is a beautiful tribute to Rondon, a beautiful personality that I didn't know, he had a very difficult childhood that was cut into patchwork, maybe if it had a chronological order it would have been more interesting, but despite being simple, it portrayed the good, he would have liked it, good performances, good production... About the indigenous nations he created the motto "Die if necessary, kill, never"...

Although Marechal Rondon, the most important Brazilian explorer ever, had a fascinating life, and acting is good in this fictionalized biographical film, outcome is somewhat pale and tepid.
