A lot of children’s stories and beloved characters from children’s stories have been getting the horror treatment lately. Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Popeye the Sailor Man, Bambi, Peter Pan, and more have all become bloodthirsty maniacs. A few months ago, we heard that director Bradley Stryker was about to go into production on a horror film called Aladdin: The Monkey’s Paw – and now, our friends at Bloody Disgusting have learned that two more Aladdin horror films, completely separate from Stryker’s project, are in the works! Writer/director Brett Bentman is gearing up to tell a two-part horror story with the films Aladdin and Aladdin’s Revenge, which have scream queen Devanny Pinn on board to star in them!

Aladdin and Aladdin’s Revenge will be filming back-to-back, with production scheduled to begin in Oklahoma this month. They’re aiming for 2026 release dates. Coming our way from B22 Films,...

The Flood opens with Sommer and Clarence taking refuge from Hurricane Clarence in an empty building. That might protect them from the rain, but as they find out, the weather isn’t the worst thing about the storm.

The storm also causes a bus transferring a group of dangerous criminals, Big Jim, Floyd, Jox, Angelo and Russel Cody to take refuge for the night in a decrepit small town jail run by Sheriff Jo Newman.

Devanny Pinn has almost 90 screen acting credits to her name, with many of those credits being for roles she has played in horror film. Credits include Frost, Death Count, Pretty Boy, The Sunday Night Slaughter, The Dawn, Crossbreed, Death Hotel, Lilith, Party Bus to Hell, Scary Story Slumber Party, Dwelling, House of Manson, The Devil’s Nightmare, The Black Dahlia Haunting, and The Los Angeles Ripper. Now The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that Pinn is making her feature directorial debut with a thriller of her own, a 1970s serial killer tale called Black Mass, which started filming in Los Angeles last Friday.

Inspired by real events, Black Mass is set over a 24-hour period in Florida during the winter of 1978 when college girls were being stalked by a serial killer. Eric Pereira and Brandon Slagle wrote the screenplay.

Night Caller opens with visions of a murder underneath the main credits before Clementine an operator for Jade Mei’s gets a call from the man she saw in the visions before he commits the crime for real.

And that murder serves notice to viewers that this isn’t going to be a Scream or Blumhouse style mainstream horror film. There are repeated gory closeups of a large knife entering the victim’s body. A shift of camera angle to some not so explicit shots that suggest the knife is getting shoved somewhere else. And the ranting killer taking the somehow still living woman’s scalp as a souvenir.

Bridge of the Doomed is an upcoming zombie feature. From the minds of director Michael Su (Bus Party to Hell), writer Adrian Milens (Bloodthirst) and executive producer Mem Ferda (The Devil's Double), this feature is currently in post-production and will be finished soon. In the story, a squad of soldiers must hold a bridge as a zombie outbreak takes place. But, there is something beneath the bridge which is much more terrifying than the undead hordes! A trailer was released for this feature earlier this year. Now, the film's first poster is available, here. The graphic shows some of the characters from the film. Actor Robert Lasardo (The Mule) stars as General Vasquez, while Michael Pare plays Colonel Charon. Kate Watson is also shown as Hernandez.
