First, I really appreciated how they had ACTUAL high schoolers play the main characters. Not 28 year-olds in youthful clothing. I think they did a great a job at portraying a diverse cast and what "real" high school life is like. I think this series depicted the nuances of being young and in love, fleeting friendships, and just trying to cool in such an accurate manner. I completely binged this series and didnt expect that from facebook watch at all!

I really wish they would've stuck to the original story line and characters. These characters are so bland and flat, the acting is really bad and the actors look like 30 year olds. So cliche and exaggerated, the original is so much more subtle, this feel very into your face. Avoid this and just watch the original.

I rapidly fell in love with this remake of Skam. Sometimes American remakes can fall flat, but the backdrop of Austin is perfect. The characters, friendships and romances all feel realistic. The soundtrack and cinematography is also wonderful in the typical Skam way.

Mostly don't like remakes and this time my distaste is justified.

The plots are weak and the characters are over-acted (and really badly I may add) like most American remakes. This version exhibits none of the innocence, subtlety or nuance of the original. It comes across as loud and in your face. In other words, very American. Bitterly disappointing!

If you have watched and loved the original like I have, don't bother with this. It could only lower your opinion of the Skam concept and image. Rather re-watch the original and savour its brilliance.

It is one of the best skam.It contains all flavour of emotions and brilliant acting.

The reason for the one star is down to the fact that EVERY other version of this amazing tv show around the world has a male gay couple but typical american network had to completely screw this up and instead change it to a female couple just like they did with skins tv show as well. why do they have to mess around with good shows. i'm not against all female couples but when you make a big change like this then its no longer the same show so why bother i don't see the point, you should just create a separate spinoff.

They did a great job on the remake and I think people should give it a try .

This show is definitely one of the best remakes of the Skam universe

I thought it was pretty dank, especially the parts with the cool cars. That was dank af.
