First, Sarah Butler is the main character. If you like watching Sarah run, fight and hide, you would like this movie. The story is well told. And the premise is
If nobody knows you. How could you probe your identity? The society also tends to choose who you are. Who is the good or the bad girl. Would you use questionable methods to find the truth? I didn't like much some action scenes, for moments I supposed to watch a very low budget movie. But the movie survive with a brave mom and a surprising little girl. Give it a chance. Enjoy thinking haven lost your identity. What would be like, if only the people you know is against you, and you're lonely crying for help?
Sarah Butler is a fantastic actress and the others in the film are as well, but the story is just horribly stupid on too many levels.
The writers were just pumping out anything for a story, regardless how much sense or logic it actually has.
Also, because it was filmed in and around Vancouver, where they moved to should be called Vancouver and then her troubles would be slightly more believable due to the verification of her ID.
Having to cross borders and losing your ID and replacing it is difficult, but even then, there would most likely be a record of it at the border crossing.
Being in the US, as a US citizen, verifying her self is much easier - and especially with drivers licenses, banks, and a variety of other means.
The implausibility on this movie is just far too high - and that's what the writers must have been when they were composing this story...high or drunk or just totally bad at their jobs.
Once again - Sarah Butler good...story bad.
If it didn't have Sarah in it, I would have easily bypassed this for something much more entertaining.
If you want to watch this, leave your brain outside the door and then take a seat and gaze into the screen like the sheep you are.
Anyone with a brain that actually uses it will find this movie totally ridiculous - but I guess that not so smart people need to be entertained too - and this is the ideal movie for them.

A real waste of an idea with real potential. You could drive a semi through the plot holes in this movie. Very disappointing.
I am in the process of watching this movie and I can NOT get past the fact that this woman has absolutely NO childhood, high school college, neighborhood friends, distant cousins, old church members, old boyfriends, cashiers at a store....ANYONE who can vouch for her true identity. Can anyone just show them an old yearbook? Yes, she found her old college professor who is coming in town to tell the detectives her true identity and this is her only hope. Bless your heart, Lifetime, these unbelievable plot lines are just outrageous. But we still watch. :)

- QuizThe book cover for Nomi Gardner's novel "Shattered" is actually the poster for Jason Bourque's feature "Black Fly" which also stars Matthew MacCaull.
- BlooperWashington State (as well as Massachusetts) driver license files contain photos of every driver license application since a person was licensed. Any police officer can access these files, which would show the license in Nomi's possession was a fraud.
