Film historian Gabio Melelli is interviewed about the Gothic classic CASTLE OF BLOOD and we also get clips from an audio interview that he did with the director Antonio Margheriti. At just under seventeen-minutes there's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but fans of the film will certainly want to check it out. We get a lot of great bits of information from Melelli who talks about the production of the film and why it has played such an important part in Italian horror cinema. The interview clips with Margheriti are also extremely good and it was nice getting to hear from the man himself on the picture that he made. Again, there's nothing tremendous here but it's a very good piece to watch after viewing the film.
