Here we are again, another episode where the critics get to rip into bad movies. This time it's the Worst Films of 1997 and those include: JUNGLE 2 JUNGLE, BAPS, THAT OLD FEELING, FATHERS DAY, YEAR OF THE HORSE, WILD AMERICA, BUDDY, U-TURN, MAD CITY, A THOUSAND ACRES, STARSHIP TROOPERS, ALIEN: RESURRECTION, THE JACKAL, THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO LITTLE, HOME ALONE 3 and FLUBBER. As you can tell, two Robin Williams movies made the list and as you'd expect there's a lot of back and forth between the critics as they discuss the worst movies they saw that year. These episodes were always very entertaining since the critics could really dig into these bad movies. The comments about Williams' acting style in FATHERS DAY was pretty funny as was Siskel's attack on HOME ALONE 3.

However on Peggy Sue Got Married/That's Life/Crocodile Dundee/The Name of the Rose (1986), he and Ebert gave two thumbs down to the film as they thought it was too predictable. They maintained the same position on a re-review in The Mosquito Coast/Streets of Gold/Crocodile Dundee/Rate It X (1986).
