Athos

This is a very interesting documentary without the unneeded cut edits of regular documentaries. No over-talking people in fancy studios. The whole film was shot on location with natural sound.

We can see the environment and the life of these secluded priests and learn more about their way of life, way of thinking. I never knew the area has its own parliament and borders similar to Vatican.

The lack of musical score gives this a true experience similar to the life of those priests themselves. However; after half an hour I indulged myself to listen some dreamy Vangelis music while watching the documentary. Vangelis I think perfectly completed this wonderful film. Greetings from Turkey.
