Decent acting and good story. One of the better romanian movies, the main character definitely has the accent of tommy wiseau which can ruin his seriousness.There aren't that many clicheic and overused jumpscares.it is a fresh take on romanian horror cinematography

Acting is average, maybe except Armand Assante. Lines are OK and last, but not least, there are beautiful areas shown in this movie from Biertan fortified church and its surroundings in Transylvania with wild landscapes and interesting, well preserved architecture villages and also Zalesky Castle represented by the stylish Ghyka Castle belonging to a Romanian aristocrat of late XIX century

Good director. Worst script ever. Who dared producing this? Hope they went bankrupt.

The 3 stars is mainly because they did not subtitle the non Englisch languages. I understand German, but not Romanian and Korean.

It's a bit of a mixed bag for me, but overall, the quality of the acting, directing and cinematography are something to behold as very good for a Romanian funded and produced title. In a time when all Romanian films try to be arthouse films, going for prizes at Cannes or Berlin Golden Bear, this is one that wants to lure the romanian audience to the big screen for the purpose of being entertained rather than making social commentaries or statements about the poor quality of life in this country. And yes I do live and work in the romanian film industry.
