Recensioni in evidenza
What a lousy screenplay, man. If you watch carefully from the very beginning, Jackie Chan is actually the Executive Producer, his son is another producer, one of the female actors is also one of the screenplay writers. The scenario is ridiculous, about a invention of the artificial heart that can make half dead people resurrect from the dead. Lot of gun fights, explosions, demonic-like villains and globe trekkers. Since Jacki Chan has an Australian Passport and his wife a permanent resident there, he just like to use Australia as one the movie's shooting location other than Hong Kong.
This is a very childish and shallow action movie for the majority of video gaming generation, guys still live with their parents, eating instant ra-mien soaking in boiled hot water while still playing the video games. But if you really like Jackie Chan's movie, watch "The Foreigner" instead.

I think the best part was the End Credits...
I am going to sum this movie in couple of words..
1- Too much bad Green Screen
2- Way too obvious Product Placement
3- Shaky Cam and Youtube style Cuts.
4- I would never have watched if the there was no Jackie Chan in it.
There was no doubt about me sitting down to watch "Bleeding Steel" or not, because it is a Jackie Chan movie and I do like his movies quite a lot.
I must admit that I am a little bit puzzled about the fairly low rating the movie has managed to receive on IMDb. Sure, it certainly wasn't among the best of Jackie Chan movies, not by a long shot, but it was still a rather fast-paced action-filled adventure that we all know and love from Jackie Chan.
The movie had a rather simple storyline and it didn't really offer any plot twists along the way. And you knew the movie's outcome from early on in the movie, but it was still an enjoyable action ride to sit along on.
The stunts are as always top notch from the king of stunts himself, Jackie Chan.
As for the acting in the movie, well it was actually also fairly good for a type of this type and genre.
There was a good combination of action and light comedy throughout the movie, as it is usually always the case with Jackie Chan movies. So you know what you are in for here when you watch it.
It was amazing to see Jackie duke it out on top of the Opera building in Sidney, and that is something I never thought I would have seen.
This is definitely a movie well-worth a place in the Jackie Chan collection. And if you haven't already seen it, and if you are a fan of Jackie Chan, then I strongly recommend that you find the time to do so.

There's no getting away from it, this film is completely mad. But there's fun to be had if you enjoy some superbly choreographed action. It is it's only saving grace unfortunately. There's a variety of young and deadly female fighters spinning around in black pvc offering stern looks and cheesy dialogue. I've also never heard such a dramatic score amidst so much crazy action, which only compounds itself towards the end, if you make it that far! This film will make you cringe and smile in equal measure if the lust for crazy action keeps you on board. The Jackie styled energy still emanates throughout the film, but it's not an easy ride to stay engaged with.
If you are a fan of Jackie you can't miss this! Cool villains and great stunts.

Buyer: Price is no problem if you've got for me what you said in the e-mail. Come over to my office in Moscow. We'll talk. I'll send a plane for you.
Leeson: Hey, man. Thank for openly discussing a price. Although it's a matter of trust. Sorry, I have a dinner date with Jackie Chan. Over.
Buyer: Fuck!
- Curiosità sui creditiWhen Ling Dong is working in the cafe at around the 33 minute mark, his name tag is Jackie Chan. Some have said this is a goof, but it's obviously a joke, as he's under cover.
