If we compare this film with Telugu one i think it lives up to it. lets compare with the budget of both films Telugu one is of 30cr.(according to Wikipedia) and the Bengali one is of 6cr.(according to Wikipedia) so it shows that the film does live up to the hype and their is no problem in remake but you get to see some footage too. so in my opinion see the film as new comer not as already seen comer. & BTW. only bengali films making remakes that is not true look at the Bollywood. they also making the same thing with some improvisation. so its not a big deal.

When I first saw the trailer I was not surprised to know that this is also a remake. It is very normal and very typical for Kolkata movie (I always forget the industry name...please forgive me) to remake a Tamil or Telugu film. This is also a regular, routine, formula remake and nothing new.

The trailer of the movie was good and gave me some hope but the movie didn't meet the expectation. I am not telling remake is a crime, Jeet's Deewana, Boss, Songee, Dui Prithibi are the good movie and very entertaining to watch. But this one a total failure. This movie is the official remake of Don Seenu of Ravi Teja and the Telugu movie is far better than this. Surprisingly Jeet's previous venture is also a remake of Ravi Teja's movie. So pathetic!!!

Let's come to movie's performance. Jeet is as usual. Good actor and good charming screen presence, Good humor. His action, Dialogue delivery, emotion, body language were good. But just think man, you have talent and you have star power, so why you are wasting your talent to work in such dumb and remake movie? Just try some original man. By the way, this haircut is nice and suitable for the movie. The lead heroines are very typical average and very little job to do in this movie. Actually, they had nothing to do. Comedies are very poor level and sometimes bored me and the editor would save at least 15 minutes of the movie to knock off the comedy scenes. Rest of the cast are below average and gave formula type performance. Songs are not great and not worth watching but picturization was good. The screenplay was very poor because the writer mismanaged the continuity get wronged to fill effective scenes in the punch position. He just copied and pasted!!! Editing was not good and overall the movie is very lazy and sometimes slow paced. Unnecessary songs and comedy scenes also made this movie horrible.

If you are a die hard Jeet's fan and didn't watch "Don Seenu" then go watch it. Don't blame me after watching this. It is totally up to you.
