To start things off before I go into full review the Uncharted Series is an unforgettable childhood I had on the PS3. Eversince, I played Drake's Fortune as a 9 year old kid I was playing the most cinematic game I ever played in my entire life. Then years later I played the sequels and now I've completed it after 4. Now Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a nostalgia trip of that Modern Day Indiana Jones Character Nathan Drake.
Graphics/60FPS: The Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection has the old style of the original games with better modded textures that add more detail to the original games environment. It's 60 FPS work is beautiful on PS4 and makes the most memorable moments in the series feel like a real flowing cinematography.
Story/Characters: This Game is for both old fans like me and those who are new to the series. Uncharted Drakes Forturne has the best introduction to the series, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has its moments of twists and turns including betrayal, and Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception shows our Hero Nathan Drake at a desperate attempt to find the last thing his ancestor has discovered. The characters are witty, humorous, dynamic, and three dimensional in every way from writing to voice acting.
9/10 A great remastered action game with memorable moments.

If you didn't have the privilege of playing Uncharted 1 - 3 on the Playstation 3, then this is the collection for you. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection collects ALL THREE of the original trilogy for your convenience and currently goes for the low price of about ten bucks. Yep -- you can get hundreds of hours of Nathan Drake, Sully, Elena and the rest of the gang, along with plenty of shooting, engaging twistin' n' turnin' story, treasure hunting and fun for about TEN BUCKS!

I have never played a uncharted game before. But now I understand why the games are so hyped there amazing. If you have ps4 and haven't played unc 1 2 and 3 buy it now.
So I played Uncharted franchise. They are third person shooter platformer action adventure games where you play as Nathan Drake.
I for one think Uncharted is a great franchise if you have no time anymore because I as an adult can't fathom playing an RPG where I have to experience a cutscene after cutscene.
Uncharted trilogy is back with a punch. The controls are much more tight than ever before. Personally since I've actually learned to play Uncharted this isn't a problem for me. But now the guns feel more punchy than before. The only way to play this game is to get a headshot and bad guys die. The platforming is reminiscent of Prince of Persia games with light puzzle solving as it gives the answers by guide book but also there is some trial and error platforming with way too much climbing to be tolerated. Like a mix between Tomb Raider and Crash Bandicoot.
Now I don't care much for the story nor the gameplay. But the way the story is told is really good. There are cinematic set pieces, with a switch in Camera angle as the characters quip at each other in scripted events and dodging attacks with button prompts known as QTE's. I don't mind if a game is cinematic in some ways as long I get to play but this game punishes you for playing so don't get cocky
I found the story to be ok for the most part. I think all the bad guys have the basic motivation of a 50's comic book villain or Disney fairy tale movies. Nathan is a nice person who is nice. That's all I got to say.
The graphics are better than before, however Bluepoint studio made it weird because Uncharted 1 and 2 all have weird joints and fingers that look like sausages and no physics on dated clothing assets.
The environments and items are far more shiny and detailed. Far more colorful instead of just writing it off as some dated game from the late 2000's OR it's art style.
3 Didn't need a remaster, it just needed better framerates and HD and that's all they did. Besides Uncharted 3 already kind of looks like a PS4 game. Or not. But it looks good so shut up.
In all personal opinion I think U3 is the best because the melee is better and shooting is good according to that demo. No more QTE nonsense for that. But do be warned, U3 DD has saggy middle syndrome full of retcons and fillers such as Drake was a kid. I don't remember when I was a kid so why should you?!
People like Uncharted 2 more because it has better set pieces and plays it straight.
Overall I think they improved on these games and it's good for any IMDB fan.

Uncharted has become a fan-darling for good reason: because the games themselves have fantastic gameplay, stories and characters that leave a good chunk of Hollywood's modern film rosters to shame; Nathan Drake is like the spiritual son of Indiana Jones, Elena Fisher is like the Marion Ravenwood, and Victor 'Sully' Sullivan is like if Sean Connery evoked modern day Robert De Niro with touches of Al Pacino and Sam Rockwell (at least to me personally). The synergy of the games is also like the original Indiana Jones Trilogy too; the pacing and character chemistry is like a great Hollywood film where they care about their interactions 110%.
This collection, to top off the already great games that they were on the PS3, rebuilds them as consistent 60-fps experiences running at a photo-genetically-gorgeous 1080p. This collection, alongside Uncharted 4, are MUST-PLAYS for any devoted gaming (or PlayStation) aficionados out there. Simply put: a beautiful compilation for a fantastic franchise that's been around since good ol' 2007.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is worth EVERY cent/penny/subscription-discount you can get your hands on, and it's a PlayStation PILLAR.
This collection is a 5/5 star achievement.
