Karabüyü (2015) falls short of its potential, leaving much to be desired in terms of both storytelling and scares. With a rating of 5/10, the film explores the concept of black magic and its dangerous consequences, but the execution fails to create the level of fear and suspense one would expect from a supernatural horror movie.

The plot follows a young woman who unknowingly becomes entangled in the world of dark magic and jinn. The concept is interesting, but the narrative lacks cohesion and depth, often veering into melodrama rather than maintaining an eerie atmosphere. The performances are uninspired, with the cast failing to convey the necessary terror and emotional weight needed to bring the story to life.

The pacing is also a problem, with long stretches of the film dragging without building any significant tension. Hahaha, I have a seen a lot of horror flicks which were not scary at all in fact they were a bit funny and cringe worthy , but this movie takes the cake for being ultra boring. The actors are bad . locations are repeated, very cheap special effects and monsters are sub par. I wont reccomend this to even an enemy of mine. WATXH IT AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

One of the worst horror movie someone can watch... if you have plenty of time just sleep instead...story was so bad...don't watch this...I repeat do not watch it.
