Zondag met Lubach

The taxpayer is ridiculed with his own money, as Arjen Lubach promotes his own political philosophy by ridiculing everyone from the political left to right, aside from his own enlightened centrist progressivism. Opposing viewpoints are consistently misrepresented and there can be only one conclusion to his audience of trained seals: the position that is spoon-fed to them by their pharaoh Arjen Lubach. Part-time pseudointellectials do love this show and it generally replaces their critical thinking skills.

You can watch older episodes just for the sake of seeing how wrong he was in his convictions and predictions.

Unfortunately, Arjen Lubach said farewell to this show in March 2021. But when it aired, it was one of my favorite Dutch tv shows. Every Sunday evening, he summarises the news of the week, and gives a very funny twist to it. Just the way it's done, awesome! And also, I think with some fragments, he changed the way that we look at things now. Such as how stupid the Dutch subject 'comprehensive reading' is. Also I liked the video where he introduces the Netherlands to Trump, in the time of the elections in 2016/2017. I was very sad to see him go.

But... (after a year of Lubach-silence) luckily, now, (March 2022) he is up and running again with his new show (The Evening Show with Arjen Lubach, De Avondshow met Arjen Lubach)!
