Dance to Death - Sfida l'arena

It cant be dissapointing cause u didnt expect anything good from it. No scense to watch this, rly.

I did not expect Dance of Death to be just that. I had hoped it was a metaphor for combat but no, its well, dancing and if "your moves don't groove" a big guy who looks like the boss character in a Dungeons and Dragons style game, fries you

Its silly stuff and its shame too, because there is much to like here. The set up is a reasonable one. A post apocalyptic world, filled with plausible characters, decent sets, action and interesting, engaging characters.

If only they had dropped the Saturday Night Fever meets Hunger Games thing this one would have been a winner.

As it stands, maybe one for teens but not sure who else would find this engaging? 5/10.

Unbelievable, I viewed this movie many times and it's one of the few movies from 2010s that I keep watching over and over and over, and here the points are only 3/10? So is this what it has become, that reboot or remade or stolen movies gets full points but new ides get low points? Ok it's not the best I have seen but it's really great and don't deserves the low points.

The story takes place in Moscow 2070 and the world has fallen to an apocalypse. Every city is a complete bunker and the inhabitants forced to breed with air filters. The lucky ones are the governments that lives in the upper bunker, and each year they pick 7 selected dancer to compete in the tournament of death in break dance, the loser will have his/her soul transfer to the earths core. One of the 7 dancer is Kostya, who is also a filter thief, and a big trouble maker. After a few dance survival he relies something is not right with the tournament and decide to break the rules and escape, will he succeed his escape?

I love this movie because it dares to try new ideas of apocalypse story and be original, unlike hunger games stole ideas from the running man and Battle Royale, Dance to Death do a new idea instead of fighting or killing the opponents has do break dance to survive the next level, I think it's brilliant and don't deserve just 3 stars of 10.

This movie is a B-rated one and it is an honour for the crew to get the lowest possible score. But not the best for me, that's why I am not giving a 1/10.
