I just have to put in my two cents on what I'm thinking has actually taken place at oak island over the last 800 plus years. We all know the knights Templar were considered keepers of the pilgrims wealth or called the first bank. When Jacques De Molay grand master at the time in 1314 was killed ordered by the king of France. This is where the trail gets cold.Jacques De Molay was fully aware the king of France was after their great holdings of wealth.I believe the Templars over time must have sailed to the new Americas constructed a vault type of safe storage.History tells us the Vikings discovered North America 1500 years before Christopher Columbus. These voyages are obviously not documented.I think you guys will be rewriting some history as you go forward.Great job!
I wish they're stay on the Island more and finish what they started. Quit going off on wild goose chases down uninteresting meaningless wells and holes in the ground behind Dave's house. It's just a nasty filthy hole in the ground that looks more like a septic tank entrance than a hole to King Solomans treasure. all the low hanging fruit is gone by explorers over the past few hundred years. finish drilling that money pit hole and cover up that other hole that the professional diver went down and didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. Stay on track, as I turn the channel and watch other things when they go off site and I suspect I'm not the only one. finish what you start. And it' getting where I'm turning it more and more. It's not a chick show, it's a guy's show. Show what guy's like.
It is just a great adventure with plenty of history and surely the possibility of being the real thing the way they go to different country's looking for proof of their theories is both adventurous and historical. The many theories they present shows true adventure and interest. There have so many shows in the past without the factual interest in it to back all the things they are loiking for and everything is falling into place.
Whether they find the treasure or not it will help settle some of the theories that have presented to them I just find the wast this program presents all the facts is what makes it a series to watch.

I love this show. It's such a fun, exciting story about two brothers on an actual treasure hunt together. Love it!
The first thing that I have to wonder is how much money has been wasted on this money pit of a fantasy. But these are the kind of "reality" shows, with network money driving them (much like the show about people striking it rich with gold in Alaska), that people turn it off for. And by off I mean their common sense. Study the "legend" and the results of this so-called reality show. They all point to one thing. Even though they know there's nothing there, they know they can make a lot of money off of someone's ability to believe anything.
