A game of mirrors, false identities and easy hopes where everyone is looking for love, interconnected and forced to come to terms with their true selves. Incommunicability is the real obstacle. A big city in Italy. Rebecca, almost thirty, is steeped in romance and longings. She decides to see a psychologist to clear her mind and better understand her feelings. She has been with Carlo for over ten years. Carlo, who possesses vain artistic ambitions, doesn't have a steady job and begins to be too boring for Rebecca who doesn't believe that this can be considered life. Rebecca starts living the most passionate period of her life. Things even seem to get better with Carlo. Rebecca is less annoyed, more confident and ready to experiment in bed. However, Carlo lacks passion. He leads a simple life and enjoys watching TV series after dinner, but with Andrea she is in seventh heaven with his marvelously romantic texts. Rebecca is confused. She thinks she loves both Carlo and Andrea, and wonders if it is possible to love two people at the same time. Carlo's greatest success is Rebecca. One night, Carlo and Rebecca make love, the best they have ever experienced together. When Carlo goes into the kitchen to get a drink he sees Rebecca's cell phone light up.
