Since its premiere, How I Met Your Mother has become an iconic TV sensation. The series aired for nine seasons starting in 2005 and ending in 2014 while Ted Mosby told his children the long story of meeting their mother. The show portrayed five friends’ experiences in Manhattan while they dealt with adulthood, careers, and relationships in their lives.

Himym established its success through its different storytelling features as well as its humor combined with the undeniable bond among the lead characters. The show designed its plot structure in a non-linear way. Its memorable dialogue and brainchild concepts, such as “Bro Code”, lived on as pop culture references after the series.

However, fans of the show wonder about the fates of the original show members who portrayed these TV characters years after the series finale aired.

Eric Kops has been elevated to the new role of Lionsgate’s Head of Global Communications & Earned Media in the conglom’s motion picture division.

Kops joined Lionsgate in 2020, working on such No. 1 openers Spiral: From the Book of Saw and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, as well as American Underdog. He is currently overseeing the publicity campaigns for The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4; White Bird: A Wonder Story, the follow up to the 2017 hit; Borderlands, starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black; About My Father, starring Sebastian Maniscalco and Robert De Niro; Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, the long-awaited adaptation of the Judy Blume classic, among several others.

Veteran PR executive Eric Kops has been officially named head of global communications and earned media for Lionsgate’s motion picture group.

The announcement was made Thursday by Marisa Liston, Lionsgate’s president of global marketing, to whom Kops will report.

Kops will oversee global feature film publicity on all wide theatrical releases, multi-platform releases and catalog, through the full cycle of their campaigns; he also will oversee strategic communications for the motion picture group as a whole. Kops has been unofficially serving in the role since last year, when Liston was promoted from the job to lead the global marketing department.

In his new role, Kops will oversee global feature film publicity on all wide theatrical releases, multiplatform releases, and catalog. Kops also will oversee strategic communications for the Film Group as a whole.

Unofficially, Kops has been serving in the role since Liston was promoted to lead the Global Marketing department last year. She previously held the job and Kops will report to Liston.

The trailer for the indie dramedy Do You Take This Man sees stars Anthony Rapp and Jonathan Bennett rethinking some things.

The two star as soon-to-be-married Daniel and Christopher, whose pre-wedding stress is suddenly exacerbated by the arrival of Christopher's long-lost childhood friend.

Do You Take This Man was written and directed by Joshua Tunick, and its ensemble cast includes Alyson Hannigan and Thomas Dekker.

The movie hits theaters on July 7 and is available on VOD on July 11.

Andrew Herwitz’s The Film Sales Company has launched sales talks on Modern Love, a romantic drama starring Alyson Hannigan that is in post.

The Film Sales Company holds worldwide rights and Jason Ishikawa leads the negotiations on the story of two gay men who host a heart-to-heart with their friends on the eve of their wedding.

Josh Tunick wrote and directed Modern Love and the cast includes Anthony Rapp, Jonathan Bennett and Thomas Dekker.
