Dont worry b/c there isnt any... also no chemistry between the leads where you would even think they are boyfriends... maybe lukewarm friendship and that is me being nice/ putting it midly ugh. That was a big letdown. If you have a romance you need to show that they are in love. The schizoprenia aspect i liked but other than that the movie has nothing going for it. I stuck with it hoping it would get better but ultimately felt like a group of people that just wanted to whip up a movie within much thought put into it with regards to plot, scenery or taking acting lessons before hand. I am all for smaller movies wanting to get their story across but this one needed a rewrite.
Kinda slow, but some interesting scenes. Adorable college boy meets partner who turns out to be szichophrenic. Yeah there's not a whole heckuva lot of dialogue...but then "Moonlight" didn't have much either and IT was astonishing.
The acting isn't as bad as other reviewers say and yes, the character interactions make sense (I've seen gay couples act this way!). Is it "Gone With the Wind"? No. But not exactly a wasted evening either.

Very glad this film exist. Sad it did not realise its full potential.
The personal journey each character takes to acceptance of a medical condition, and depicting how each individual journey inter-twines with their life. It cleverly shows how not everyone reaches acceptance and is careful not to judge progress towards acceptance.
The script let the film down, silent reflection was a frequent crutch used by the script writers. I can't understand why script writers didn't deepen the charecter development with more dialog.
The film missed a big opportunity to present all of Jeremy personalities, for instance by giving Jeremy an inner monolog for the entire film, it would have helped me connect with his passion for engineering and food and struggle with schizophrenia.
I was very glad the film developed their parents growing response as the changing medical situation.
I was also loved how the movie included the realistic but empathetic dynamic between Scott and Eliot. Eliott is depicted Maturing and making tough choices in response to Jeremy's moods. The inclusion of Scott as the ex boyfriend who appears through the entire movie is an inspired plot twist, that explores the importance of different roles in a community to work together to share the burden of medical condition.

I've seen plenty of gay-themed movies, but this was one of the worst. Wooden acting, poor line readings, and absolutely no chemistry among any of the actors. Jeremy responds to everything with a vacant stare and a pause as if he's trying to remember his line, but that's about the same for all the others. The romantic scenes were more like business meetings. I don't really know about schizophrenia but I can't imagine that it comes on all of a sudden and immediately goes from A to Z. And frankly, I don't see why Jeremy would want to give up his life and career for someone he's really just met. I certainly never felt they were truly in love. And the return of the unfaithful boyfriend made no sense.
