Unfortunately the story has no twist. It's not necessary to have a twist for the sake of a twist but in this movie everything is kind of obvious from the beginning and just unfolds predictably and kind of boringly.
Not worth watching.
Overall, 5 stars. The actors weren't very in depth, making the movie feel a lot more bland than it could have been. Still a partially enjoyable movie. Don't assume it's horrible, because it's not, it's just slow and bland.

- QuizFilmed in part at the Glensheen historic estate on the shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN, the former home of the Congdon family. This location was used once before as a film set in 1972 for another movie thriller, A un passo dalla morte (1972), starring Patty Duke and Richard Thomas. The estate has its own dark real life history, and is open to the public for tours.
- BlooperAround the 56-minute mark, while Savannah is searching for news about her family on her laptop, a news article mistakenly refers to her as 'Samantha' instead of her actual name, 'Savannah.' This inconsistency is noticeable as the character's correct name is used throughout the rest of the film.

Jane Smith: There's something off about this place.
Finch: What do you mean?
Jane Smith: Well, for starters, my father apparently killed himself in the house. And there's something else...
Finch: Okay.
Jane Smith: You're going to think I'm nuts, but I've been seeing things.
Finch: Seeing things? Seeing... seeing what?
Jane Smith: A little girl. I feel like I know her.
