This show was my gateway to Korean Variety Shows. I love and adore it. The camaraderie seen and felt coming from all the chefs, the hosts and their celebrity guests is what sells it. This is a show about the very essence of love and family: experiencing life while sharing a meal and I was drawn into the lives of celebrities that I was not aware of by being given a look into one of the most personal spaces anyone can have; their refrigerators. The premise is fun and seems simple but the chefs' jobs is anything but and they all are masters in their own right. In exchange for that look into their lives the celebrities get to sample what heavenly (hopefully) creations comes from the choices they make in the foods they buy. It's a win-win-win all around. The cooking competition portion by far exceeds the excitement of any that I have seen so far - yes, even those big brand name franchises here in the US. One of the world's most known chef couldn't master it, sadly because he rushed it but I'd love to see others try it.
I love it, but Netflix drives me insane by drip feeding us! I can't even watch the whole episode, they split it into two. And I was thrilled to see it back, but somehow they don't have the rights to show the old seasons anymore, which I would love to see again. I don't like regular cooking showws, but this just grabs me with people's personal stories about their fridges.
I'm starting to lose interest in waiting a week between episodes, I'm so busy with life. Just wait until they're all out and upload the lot for chrissakesakes. And I'd like to watch previous seasons too! Because of minimum characters, I have to add this wholly unnecessary sentence.
