Big Deal

In what has become a common practice to drive firms into bankruptcy (JoAnn, Red Lobster, etc) and milk them dry of their assets, this film shows an early example of this set in Korea in the early 2000's.

The movie does require complete attention in the beginning to get the gist of what's going on but the tension builds throughout as the motivations become more clear. Characters are played with a certain shameless attitude, mocking any harm they may cause to others.

These tactics are morally bankrupt but legal. Is a good subject to be brought to light. Now if only someone will do an American version.
